These rules were stolen from the last time we did one of these. You guys know the drill by now.


16 Round Draft, drafting one movie to recast and up to 15 actors.

You can call your draft at any point, but once you do, you're done until add/drop.

Standard clock rules apply: 8 hour clock. Miss one clock no penalty. Miss two clocks, you're down to a 4 hour clock from there on in. Miss 3 clocks and you become an automatic autoskip.

I'm making a call.

Clearly, Mayhem doesn't know the draft started. He hasn't logged on here for a couple of days, according to his profile, and he sometimes isn't in the office, which is the only alternate way I have of contacting him. The draft was officially decided on and started since he last logged on.

So, I'm suspending the clock for tonight only from midnight ET to 8am ET tomorrow. Hopefully, he checks in at some point over that stretch. If not, his clock will start (or re-start if Solly picks before midnight) at 8:00 tomorrow.

I hope everyone's cool with that.

Since we are on hold... and I am forced to be awake right now......

I think we should consider changing our general clock rules to include an overnight suspension.
The dynamic of the board has changed drastically in the past couple years. Gone are the days where there is regular activity later in the evening and even less overnight.
In a larger drafts (16-20 people,) it might cause a delay or issue, but when was the last time we had that many in a draft.... 2012?
The drafting core of us stays in pretty good contact with each other outside of PH where it would be very unlikley that someone would clock out before or after an overnight suspension.
Something simple like Midnight to 8am. We just press pause at midnight and the remaing clock time starts again at 8.
I know there are time zone issues, but the vast majority of us are in the East or Central. Other than Solly and maybe Dead... I cant think of anyone out west who drafts with us more than once a year or so (C&B not included)
Yes... I know, Leave a List. But half the fun (for me at least) is making the picks myself.
