These are both close for me again. I just kind of dig the groove Dash has going a little a bit more with the talent roster.

Dash is taking a big chance (albeit buffered by the promise of a big cash-in match) and I can't decide how I feel about it. I haven't been blown away by the Asuka intergender matches I've seen, but I also think Roode would give her a much better match than some of her strong style partners.

I managed to get most of my writing in. It just seemed like this year there was more communication between everyone so if so somebody was out, picks were being made on their behalf. I don't see how you slow it down unless you penalize people for drafting fast and that's ridiculous.

Graves: Incredible steal by Sportsguy. He's been developing a very heavyweight-centric roster this year, but adding El Dandy--a multiple-time CMLL Middleweight Champion--now provides a full sub-division of legendary cruiserweights, assuming he will match up with the likes of Jushin Liger and X-Pac.

Young: Don't you think you're throwing around "legendary" a little too fast, Corey? El Dandy never won a single championship in WCW--

Edit to add: We spent years trying to become more efficient that we became TOO efficient. But there are things we can do. In some years, we'd still be drafting now.

Edit again: And I don't want to slow it down to slow it down--the motivation for the changes is to bring about even more creativity.

I liked the draft portion moving quickly. I'm not sure we need to slow down that half of the game. If you want to add a longer break post-draft pre-showdown, and keep polls and add/drops open longer as Liz said, I think it would be enough to fix the issue.

The issue is storytelling- some folks would actually like to tell a story during the draft itself, and the speed took away from it. I don't want to drag it out, instead loosen it up just enough for storytelling.

I wouldn't mind a non drafter doing commentary on each pick next year, seriously. I mean they'd lose their mind within 20 picks but still....
