Hodgey and I have reviewed the comments and discussed the adding and dropping of players on eliminated teams and teams competing in the playoffs.

All rosters lock at the same time: immediately after the playoffs end. This is unchanged, but simply clarified and confirmed.

In order to help manage the drop/add situation of potentially key players being dropped from eliminated teams altering the balance of the contending playoff teams, we will have a playoff-only transaction cap of 7 per week, and we will have a waiver period of 4 days (the maximum allowed by ESPN). The regular season remains uncapped regarding transactions. Also, I believe a transaction is an "add" from waivers or UFA. So you don't need to "drop and add" in the same transaction.

my vote on this depends on if the consolation bracket goes through. If it does I think we leave things as is, because there won't be a team that is dumping to get more keepers, if it doesn't then we might need to change it.

I wish I knew why this was even a thing that needed to be discussed. Every team should be able to do what they want through the roster freeze. Again, do we really have examples of add/drops swinging matchups in the playoffs?
