I'm taking one vote of 'go ahead' as my okay to go ahead with getting this going.
-Looking for eight to 10 teams to draft all women wrestling federations over the course of 20 rounds. Rules will be similar to other wrestling drafts. In ring performers must be biological women (so not guys that worked in drag) who wrestled at least one wrestling match for a professional wrestling company somewhere in the world during recorded human history. Those who have not wrestled but appeared for a wrestling company in some capacity may have non-wrestling roles (commentators, commissioners, managers, etc.)
-You may draft up to two men in non-wrestling roles (commentators, commissioners, managers, etc.), but don't have to. Men must have appeared for a wrestling company in some capacity.
-You do not have to draft a venue or designate commentators and commissioners. If you want to fill these roles, go ahead. Writing storylines is not mandatory, but encouraged. Basically, structure and promote your league the best way you know how in drawing votes.
-You will formulate a minimum of three and maximum of five cards. If we have eight teams, there will be two divisions of four each and you will play everyone in your division once. Top two from each division will then go to a final four. If we have 10 teams, then it will be random matchups with those with the best records making the final four. Tie breakers will be most votes, record against like opponents and head-to-head record.
-Clocks will be eight hours. As this is a shorter draft, we will observe clock stoppages overnight from midnight to 8 a.m. est daily. Picks can still be made during that time period. Miss one clock and it's no penalty. Two missed clocks reduces your clock to four hours. Three missed clocks puts you on auto-skip for the remainder of the draft.
-Anything I forgot or questions, feel free to ask. If it's something I didn't cover specifically, just assume it's the same as the regular wrestling draft. Once we get to eight teams, I'm going to let sign-up go another 48 hours to see if we get to 10. Once we get 10 or hit the deadline, I'll randomly seed the draft order and we'll get going.
