Torn on who to vote for as I like bits of both cards and have slight issues with both.

Sharky has a few people I just have zero interest in and a few things that don't really make sense to me.

Dalem has a few issues with some things...Leonardo; a mutant ninja turtle is non-powered and Captain America, a steroid injected soldier at the top of human capability is powered. Also, there are 4 teams in the triple threat team battle.

Someone sway me.

I like a lot of what Shark did in his thread to set up his universe and matches. Going shark for his overall narrative.

Dalem has a lot of cool ideas, like a Kaiju division and how he works that and bonding the Venom symbiote with Zangief. Godzilla vs. Stay Puft Marshmallow Man amuses me to no end.

Tell me what doesn't make sense and I'll try to explain it?

Really though, my knowledge base on a lot if this was so limited that I have no inkling on winning any of these match ups. I tried to come up with some pairings/match ups that might be fun for me to see. Tried not to repeat universes but once or twice - I have 2 Marvel characters, but I don't read comics nor watch the movies, so I don't know if they would ever intersect at all. And then I took but Bo & Luke, since they seemed like a perfect Hardy Boyz type tag team. Everyone else was one per Universe. I tried to go with "Who might make a good wrestler" So lots of action types (cops/tough guys) and lots of athletic types.

Hawkeye always made bad jokes/puns. I paired them so he could make the 'thing' jokes in the promo I posted. I think Pierce makes a great spokesman, while Thing can be the strong silent type a la Lesnar.

Cerrano & Hunting both strike me as a someone who can play both heel and face. I see both men face turning face down the line. KGB is your typical Heel manager. He sees Cerrano as the big muscle to help him gain control of what we wants - in this case the Reality Title.

Not surprised as I debated where both of them should go. My arguments, based mostly on cinematic representations, is that Steve Rogers is literally a Super Soldier who has held his own against Thor and can pull a helicopter from taking off with his arm strength is powered. Leonardo, at least in the original early 90s movies, is not shown as having superhuman strength or speed, he is just an expert level martial artist. The main example being that Shredder, who also has no super powers (until Kevin Nash's Super Shedder), easily can stand toe to toe with him in their initial encounter.

I stand by where I put the those two, though they are both category tweeners.

I just realized something to my great embarrassment. I live in Durham, of Bull Durham fame, and went to near a dozen games this year. Crash Davis was a real person.

Looked it up. There was a real guy named Crash Davis and his name inspired the character, but is not a direct representation of the real person, so under set rules it’s fine.

Were you at Game 4 of the Govenors Cup? I was there. Went to a few games earlier in the year too.

I did as well before I took him. Also wanted Julius Campbell from Remember the Titans, but he was a real person who was portrayed as such (with typical dramatic license) in the film.
