Just paid out the league funds. Couple of potential topics.

I had suggested adding a couple if IDPs in place of the team DST. That seemed universally disliked. In that discussion, the point of moving the waiver date to Wednesday was mentioned multiple times. That seemed pretty well received. I'll toss up a poll after the NFL draft and people are getting back in football mode.

I'd also like to suggest one extra paying spot, going to the team with the highest individual weekly score. I was thinking it would be $20, and either replace the 3rd, or shave $10 off of First and Second to make it up.

Anyway, discuss here, and we will vote on stuff after the NFL draft (As long as Snels concurs)

I'm in on moving the waiver deadline up. Out on the other two suggestions. And I'm spending my (Probably last ever) payout right now on Amazon, getting a few books I was looking at.

I was going to suggest that if we bump up the entry fee by $5 each, we could institute a $5 weekly payout to the highest score each week of the regular season. I believe we play 13 regular season weeks which would need $65 to pay out. An extra $5 per person for 12 players is $60 and then we can take $5 away from the best regular season team since it's more than likely they've already won at least one week during the season. If we wanted to keep 3rd place at getting their money back, I think dropping regular season winner to $10 is also fine.

I also like Dev's idea to bump up entry to $25 and do a weekly winner thing. Or hell, let's just bump up the buy-in to $100.

Once again, I'd also like to bring up the idea of dropping kickers. And if I had things my way I'd get rid of defenses too. Drop those spots and add in another flex. Just a thought...

Yeah, $100 puts me out. Not really a fan of the weekly payout, mainly because as a co-commissioner, I don't want to have more work to do to track that. It's all I can do some weeks to set a lineup

I'd drop out if the fee goes over $25. Not in favor of weekly payouts. I think we're good where we are with 1-3 in playoffs and regular season winner.

Been thinking about this, this is coming from purely selfish reasons but hear me out. For those who want to add more money to the payouts, how bout this:

The "For the love of fuck, please please please please please let me keep Saquon Barkley" rule (We can workshop the name)

Not mandatory but for 20 bucks more in addition to the entry fee, you can pay to keep a keeper taken in the first 3 rounds. My 20 bucks on it's own? Hardly adds anything to the payouts, but if just 3 of us do it? That's another 15 added right there. 8 of us? (just 2/3 of the league) That's another 40 bucks per pay out. Just thinking out loud here, anyone have thoughts on this?
