Especially one star spangled thorn in the Macho King’s side, oh yeah, Kurt Angle I’m talking about you. Won a gold medal on a broken freakin’ neck, good for you. But playing tiddly winks with some Norwegian at the Olympics isn’t close to getting into the ring with the Macho King, not by a long shot. When I get done with you, you’ll wish you had a broken neck, oh yeah.

RS: And while Macho’s got the mic let me send out a special message to Roman Reigns. Oh yeah, you need to keep an eye on your new best friend, Hulk Hogan. I’ve walked that path and Hogan is not my friend anymore, he’s only a friend to himself, oh yeah. He’ll turn on you like he’s turned on everybody else. Soon as you start getting a little bit above him, SNAP, he’ll pull you right back down. But, I’ve got a new friend, a new friend befitting of a king, oh yeah. It’s the Crown Prince of Bulgaria, Alexander Rusev.

AR: Hulk Hogan, just as Kurt Angle will kneel before the Macho King, you will kneel before me and all your little Hulkamaniacs will do the same. You say USA is the greatest country in the world, but Bulgaria is far superior and I will prove that against you when we meet on glorious Rusev Day.

RS: I thought you said today is Rusev Day.

AR: It is.

RS: What about tomorrow?

AR: Also Rusev Day.

RS: What about next Tuesday?

AR: Rusev Day.

AR: What about six Wednesdays from now?

AR: Rusev Day.

RS: Wow, that is some trip you got going for you brother….Kurt Angle, Hulk Hogan, you will bow down before the royal court.

AR: And we’ll do it on glorious Rusev Day!

KA: Macho King, this is America and we don’t bow before anyone. Did I win a gold medal on a broken freakin’ neck? It’s true, it’s damn true. Am I going to take that scepter and bash your freakin’ brains out with it? That’s also true, it’s damn true. Now, I might not be Hulk Hogan’s new best friend like Roman Reigns, but I’m an All-American ass kicker and I kneel before nobody.

Roman Reigns is staring befuddled and confused at the camera.

RR: I don’t know where y’all are getting this best friend of Hulk Hogan stuff at, but it’s not true.



Cut to Hulk Hogan walking through the backstage area and talking to various production people as he goes.

HH: Hey, have you seen my new best friend Roman Reigns…no…okay.

HH: Hey, do you know where my new best friend Roman Reigns is at…no…okay.

HH: Hey, have you seen this picture of me and my new best friend Roman Reigns hanging out on my cool ass speedboat.

PA: Uh, did you just superimpose Roman’s head over Chris Lemmon on an old publicity shot from “Thunder in Paradise.”

HH: C’mon, brother, Roman Reigns is ripped, but he ain’t Chris Lemmon jacked, dude, look at that again. Hey, check out this picture of me holding Roman as a little baby dude.



Roman Reigns appears and Hogan lights up. He points at him.

HH: Hey, bestie, what’s up, brother.

Reigns stares at Hogan and leaves him hanging on a high five.

RR: That all needs to stop right now.

HH: C’mon, brother, I’ve known you since you were a baby dude, look at us so happy together.

RR: You burn that picture, or I make you eat it.

Kurt Angle comes in from off camera.

KA: Hey, Hulkster, buddy, I’ve got pictures of us together too.



HH: That’s great, Kurt…Roman, I’ll see you tonight for hibachi, bring the family.

Hogan walks off.

RR: I didn’t watch Impact, but weren’t you guys fighting over there at one point.

KA: What’s Impact?

RR: Shoot…wait…what era Kurt Angle are you?

KA: What era Roman Reigns are you?

RR: I don’t know. Sufferin’ Succotash is this all confusing. Wait! I don’t want to be that era Roman Reigns. Damn, man.

[Leo]

“Broken” Matt Hardy sits in his home at the Hardy Compound and eats green beans out of a large mixing bowl. He hears a knock on the door and goes to answer it. He lights up with a smile when he sees who it is, Jerry “the King” Lawler.

“Lawler King, what do I owe such a regal visit,” Hardy beams as he spreads his arms wide to welcome his guest.

“It’s bad, Matt, it’s bad,” Lawler says with a grimace as he moves past Hardy without being asked to come in.

Lawler paces in the living room, while Matt returns to eating his green beans.

“Have you watched the news lately,” Lawler asks.

“The concerns of this world do not worry me. The multi-verse is where I give my attention,” Hardy replies.

“Well, this could harm everything. It’s bad, really bad,” Lawler says as he paces faster. “Two lunatics stole a suit from the Planet Hollywood Café in Charlotte. It’s one of the Tony Clifton suits Andy Kaufman wore. They were ranting about bringing Kaufman back from the DNA on the suit.”

“And this concerns me how,” Matt asks.

“That damn Lake of Reincarnation of yours,” Jerry snaps as he points out the window. “It’s the only way I could think of that Kaufman could be brought back from the dead.”

“The Lake of Reincarnation has vast and great powers,” Hardy says. “But, it’s not brought back a person from the land of the dead. It simply alters the living into previous forms. To think Andy Kaufman could be brought back in such a manner is preposterous.”

At that moment, thunder sounds loudly and lightning flashes out of a once clear sky.

“Uh oh,” Hardy simply says. He and Lawler jump up and run outside.

Dark clouds are swirling overhead and the wind picks up fierce. There is more thunder and lightning. A car is seen pulling away fast. The Tony Clifton suit can be seen floating on the lake. The water churns and swallows it. Lightning strikes the water and slowly out of the water rises wearing the suit…Andy Kaufman!



“I have returned,” Kaufman screams as he floats over the water with glowing eyes and light encircling his hands. “I am once more in the land of the living and I can once more live out my true dream of dominating the world of professional wrestling.”

Bolts of power shoot out of Kaufman’s hands, it encompasses everything. The light dies out and Hardy and Lawler find themselves standing in an empty arena with a wrestling ring in the middle.

“What happened,” Lawler asks.

They look to a backstage area and see Randy Savage and Alexander Rusev cutting a promo. They look down another hallways to see Hulk Hogan, Kurt Angle and Roman Reigns talking.

“I would ponder that Kaufman has absorbed the power of the Lake of Reincarnation and used it to put together his perfect vision of a wrestling federation,” Hardy offers.

“That is right,” Kaufman says. Lawler and Hardy turn to see Kaufman floating above the ring with his eyes and hands still glowing. “But you two are not part of my perfect vision.”

“Matt, what do we do,” Lawler asks. “You’re the only one who knows how this works.”

“Broken Matt Hardy might be able to save you, but not a previous version,” Kaufman says and shoots a blast from his hand. It strikes Hardy.
Hardy’s hair is now solid black again. He appears younger and thinner and is wearing a shirt that has a V and a 1 on it.



“What the hell? Jerry Lawler, Matt Hardy, Version 1.0 is going to kick your ass,” Matt says.

“And you, Lawler, I think I liked you better as a puppy lover,” Kaufman says as he points his hand at Lawler.

“Wait a minute,” Lawler tries to think fast. “What fun would that be to just change me now. How about you humiliate me first.”
Kaufman pauses. “I’m listening.”

“Give me a match with Matt Hardy in your federation. If I win, ‘Broken’ Matt Hardy comes back. If I lose, then you can turn me into ‘Puppy Lover’ Jerry Lawler,” Lawler offers.

“I could do that anyway, but yes, humiliating you in the ring first sounds like the way to go,” Kaufman says. He lowers himself to the ring and his eyes return to normal. “Now, if you excuse me, I have much to do before WIZARD can debut to the multi-verse.”

Kaufman blows between Lawler and Hardy. Hardy mean mugs Lawler, who is equally confused and worried.

High above sitting in a seat at the top of arena is a man watching it all. He is a man who knows he shouldn’t be there. A man who knows he has been pulled from the Land of the Dead much like Lawler. A man who understands what is happening and what Kaufman has planned. How he knows this, he isn’t sure. All he truly knows is that he is “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert. And he too like Lawler was once a king.

[Leo]

Andy Kaufman is in his office of WIZARD and in walks Becky Lynch. Kaufman screams like a little girl and jumps behind a couch. He slowly lifts his head up and peeks out.

AK: Who are you?

BL: I’m one of your new talents. “The Man” Becky Lynch.

Kaufman comes out from behind the couch, very puzzled.

AK: You’re the “The Man” Becky Lynch? You appear to be a wo-man.

BL: Becky didn’t tip you off.

AK: Stacy Keach. Caroll O’Connor. “The Man” Becky Lynch. How was I to know? Why do you call yourself “The Man.”

BL: Because I’m the best, the boss, the top dog in charge, I’m “the man.” And I believe all those others were taken.

Kaufman puts his hand to his head and is very concerned.

AK: This is a disaster. I can’t just have one woman on the roster. I have to hire more.

BL: Andy Kaufman, I consider you a hero to women’s wrestling.

AK: What? You do?

BL: Of course. You were the first man to give women a chance. You were the first guy to say a woman could stand in the ring with a man and compete.

AK: Did you ever watch any of those bits?

BL: I’m trying to use reverse psychology on you. But, regardless, you were a pioneer for intergender wrestling and you can do it again.

AK: You’re right. If I want to truly dominate professional wrestling, I have to offer something nobody else is. I can’t offer an intergender tag division. I can bring my intergender world title out of the moth balls and defend it again. You want a shot, lassy?

BL: I’m just fine with going after whatever women’s belt you create. But you know what you should do? What you used to, go out there and make an open challenge. Any woman in the building.

AK: You’re right. I could do it then, I can do it now. And I’m going to throw $25,000 on it. The Andy Kaufman $25,000 Intergender World Title Open Challenge. It will be the biggest thing ever.

BL: Tell you what. Let me make some calls and we’ll get some women in here.

AK: Great. Now, if you will excuse me, our new ring announcer is coming in for a meeting, Mike McGuirk.

Lynch gives kind of a look. Then she walks out and looks at her phone.

AK: Damn, in whatever weird multiverse we’re in I’ve got all kind of new numbers on my phone. Some of these people I’m sure are dead. Let’s see here…I know she’s dead. But, if she’s here, she’s perfect for the open challenge.

A couple notes for the next show:

*Missy Hyatt thought Reby Sky was flirting ringside with Eddie Gilbert. So she comes out to yell at her. This leads to a cat fight that draws Hardy out, then he and Gilbert get into it.

*After losing to Sherri, Bayley goes to her and says she's tired of being the good girl and wants Sherri to teach her how to be a bitch like her. Sherri takes Bayley under her wing.

*After losing to Chyna, Kaufman puts a bounty on her head. The Freebirds immidiately offer up Trevor Lee and Kaufman also gives them a tag title match in thanks.

[Leo]

“Sensational” Sherri Martel sits in the locker room after her match with Bayley. Bayley comes up and stands in front of Sherri sheepishly.

SM: What do you want, you miserable putrid worm?

Bayley pauses for a long moment and stares down at the floor.

B: Well…I…I was just wondering…

SM: Spit it out, you spineless jellyfish!

B: People always say I’m too nice and that’s why I lose all the time and I was wondering if you could teach me how to be a total bitch like you.
The words come spilling out fast. Bayley looks embarrassed and puts her hands to her face as she feels she’s offended Sherri. Sherri stands and faces her.

SM: You’re right, baby, I’m a total bitch and that’s why I’ve gotten to where I’m at. Nice girls finish dead last while bad girls like me stand there with your man and your titles. If you want to be a bitch, I can teach you, but it won’t be easy.

Bayley squeals with delight and hugs Sherri, who looks disgusted enough to puke.

SM: Bitches don’t hug, bitch!

Bayley backs off and nods slightly.

SM: We’ve got a long way to go.

[Leo]

Hulk Hogan walks up to Roman Reigns with his hand out for a high five and Reigns just stares at him.

HH: C’mon, brother, we both won tonight.

Reigns continues to stare. Kurt Angle then runs in and tries to high five Hogan, but he quickly lowers his hand.

HH: High fives are for winners only, dude.

Angle hangs his head in shame.

RR: Hulk, man, just….whatever…

Reigns trails off.

HH: Don’t worry, Kurt. I’ve faced the Macho Man many times, brother, and I’ll get that title belt off of him next week.

KA: I saw the booking sheet. Reigns has the title shot next week. You’ve got Koloff and I’ve got Rusev.

HH: What, brother? I had the way tougher match.

RR: Right. You just had to take a flag down off of a ring post. I got whipped with a steel chain by a jacked, pissed off Russian.

HH: Glad you agree with me, brother. But it don’t matter. The Big Dog is going to be the new RAD Champion and then you can give me the title match you know I deserve, dude.

RR: I don’t know what say I have in who gets a title shot.

HH: You have all the say brother. You just say ‘that doesn’t work for me, brother’ or ‘that does work for me, brother.’ Don’t worry, I’ll teach you how to be a real champion.

Hogan walks off with his arm around Reigns, which he seems creeped out by. Angle hangs his head and walks off.

[Leo]

Matt Hardy, version 1.0 and Reby Sky argue in the back.

MH: I can’t believe you were out there flirting with Eddie Gilbert.

RS: Flirting? Smiling at a co-worker is not flirting. I was time keeper, he was commentary right next to me. Gilbert was nice to me, something you’ve forgotten how to do. I liked “Broken” Matt Hardy, much better than Version 1.0. Obviously, you need a lot of upgrades.

MH: Look, babe, this is the best version I’ve ever been. Andy Kaufman has shown me that. And it’s a version that doesn’t let his woman make time with another man.

RS: Your woman! I’m my own woman.

With that Missy Hyatt flies in from out of nowhere. Grabs Reby by the hair and throws her across the floor. Matt just watches as Eddie Gilbert appears and tries to pull them apart. Matt obviously likes the cat fight. Eddie gets his arms around Missy and pulls her back. The ladies eventually settle down.

MH: Nice job handling the ladies, Eddie. Let’s see how well you do handling me next week.

EG: Matt, this is a lot more serious than you think. What Andy Kaufman has created here isn’t natural and isn’t right. Nobody seems to be questioning this, except me.

MH: I say just enjoy the ride. Who knows when it will end.

Matt takes Reby gruffly by the arm and walks off. Eddie stares after him with a look that says maybe he does know how this will all end.
