Roberts/DiBiase is a hell of a main event, but Mayhem's card is better overall.

The main event is great. I like the idea of incorporating some modern ideas, like the elimination chamber, but I think for that match gimmick, it's too far down the card. I liked how you divided up the managers and valets. Gauntlet match has potential.

Nice, tight little card that really feels like something WWF would have done at the time. You also did a great job in taking what was objectionably the best company and making it ever stronger by the picking up the likes of Rhodes and Flair. The opener is blah, but everything else is super solid. The Von Erich vs. Bundy match has intriguing booking.

I sort of had it in my head of Von Erich winning, and since it was always implied way back when that Mama Cornette funded Camp Cornette, of Jim having to call his mom during a backstage interview and having to explain exactly WHY he needed 15K more this month.
