Stop #1 - Attend WrestleMania live (Always been a dream of mine, but something always seen to roadblock me when it's in my range. For the sake of roadtrip continuity, let's say it's in Florida.)
Stop #2 - Cafe Du Monde, New Orleans (Have always heard about their beignets, so let's try them
Stop #3 - The Grand Ole Oprey, Nashville (Headin 531 miles north to visit the Orpy. My father always wanted to go, but never got the chance.
Stop #4 - A Christmas Story House and Museum, Cleveland (One of my favorite movies, so let's head 521 miles northeast to see the worlds most famous leg lamp.)
Stop #5 - Cheers on Beacon Hill (640 miles east of Cleveland sits the former Bull & Finch pub, the inspiration for my favorite tv show. Gotta go see it!)
Stop #6 - Assateague Island off the eastern coast of MD and VA (369 miles south to see the majestic wild horses roam the beach freely)
Stop #7 - The Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. (As an Army veteran, and son of a Vietnam vet, I have to travel the 114 Miles inland to pay my respects)
Stop #8 - Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C. (While I'm already in DC, let's learn some cool stuff.)
Stop #9 - Mammoth Cave National Park in central KY (661 miles back west to check out the natural wonders of the worlds largest know cave system)
Stop #10 - Biggest Ball of Twine in Darwin, MN (Only a Weird Al superfan would drive 861 miles northwest to see "The Biggest Ball of Twine in Minnesota", and that superfan would be me!)
Stop #11 - Crazy Horse Memorial in Custer County, SD (568 miles west to The Black Hills of South Dakota to see this amazing mountain side sculpture)
Stop #12 - Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum in Ashland, NE (520 miles southeast to check out the history of air and space travel)
Stop #13 - The Munster Mansion in Waxahachie, TX (692 miles south sits an exact reolica of the house from the tv shoe The Munsters. This I gotta see)
Stop #14 - Museum of Death in Hollywood, CA (Final stop of this trip ia almost 1500 miles, but what can I say, I'm a weird guy!!!)
I went to Wrestlemania the last time it was in Orlando (33). Funny thing is I lived in Orlando when we bought the tickets and moved to Colorado 2 weeks before the show. So right after getting settled in I hoped my ass on a plane back to Orlando for the weekend. We did the NXT Takeover show on Saturday also. Got no sleep. Fun times.
Only other stop on your trip I've done is Crazy Horse. Very cool looking. The Black Hills area of South Dakota on a whole has a whole lot to offer. Way more attractions than just Rushmore.
