I was going to post this last night, but by the time we got to the hotel, I was so tired I couldn't. Yesterday we were in Philly, and I have to say this was probably my favorite day of the trip. We went to the art museum and saw the stairs Rocky ran up, and got pics with the Rocky statue, it was REALLY cool to see that.

Then we went and got cheesesteaks from Pats and Geno's. Fucking Awesome. Probably the best sandwich I have ever had. After we ate, we walked a couple of blocks from that and found a cigar shop tucked away in a neighborhood, it was really cool too, they had a room in the back to sit and smoke cigars, it felt really kind of old-time.

Then we went to the game. What an awesome park, and an awesome complex down there. They have all four arenas/parks in one area, and it is really nice. The game itself was great, because the Phillies won. We didn't stick around for the fireworks at the end because we had to go over an hour to the hotel, but it would have been great to see them.

Anyway, I am having a hard time collecting my thoughts, I just woke up and we have to get on the road. I'll write more and post pics when I get home

The Phillies are everything I hoped the Mets would be - a team that plays their fucking asses off for all 27 outs. They're never out of a game. Solly 10/20/09
