The other half of Region 3 involves the most polarizing of the networks against a more stable network.

DevSop easily won his portion against TexShark and DashBee, but it also involved the most debate amongst all the networks. bd never got close to Lucky, but he also stayed comfortably ahead of Angle the entire time to move on. What will happen here; is Dev's network polarizing enough that it gets eliminated here or is there enough love to move on? Is bdLand a solid enough network to get the votes to move onto the Elite Eight? This one is sure to spark some conversation...

Sunday - Nothing of interest on Devs. Bd has Law & Order that I'll watch and I might also tune in to see what the fuss about Mad Men is. Untouchables was a good movie so I mgiht check out that show also.

Monday - Dev takes this night though. Nothing for me on Bd's network. I loved Undeclared and also Kitchen Confidential (while they were both on). The rest of the night I don't watch but I wouldn't be against watching.

Tuesday - I'll watch live Dinosaurs, Futurama, and Beavis & Butthead. I don't like that they are spaced out so much though. I will DVR Firefly.

Wednesday - Addam's Family & Tales from the Crypt are a must. Again Bd's scheduling frustrates me. I wish they were back to back. I'll DVR Veronica Mars since I heard good things.

Thursday - Bd gets some kudos for chooseing Ugly Betty & Housewives. I'm not watching either but I'm glad he is to make my Disney stock increase. Thanks. The only show I'm watching is Heroes.

Friday - I'll watch 8 Rules & Friday Night Lights. I'll check out on DVR Dr. Who and I might also check out the Prisoner.

This vote is coming down to the wire for me also.

Bd - 4 Live, 0 DVR
Dev - 3.5 Live, 2 DVR

Bd has more live, Dev has more time total. Of the shows I might have interest in I have one extra hour for Bd. Plus Bd is driving up my tock price. I'm going to take Bd here but the margain is ever so slim.

MTA: To clarify, I'll do this for any show I have on DVD. And I don't really expect votes. But I like TV, an awful lot, and I like to talk about it so it's easier if people actually watch the same shows.

I know I had a somewhat polarizing network, but am I missing something from bd's network? It's got some quality, but there's no true staple. Nothing that would make me say wow, I need to watch that. And he has that Thursday night which really shouldn't be allowed. Betty, Housewives, and L-Word...I mean...even my sorority girl network isn't that bad. And my shows with chicks are at least hot.

Law & Order is a true staple and one that is less polarizing then Buffy which I'd consider yours. He also has Beavis & Butthead and Futurama that were both cartoons that I really enjoyed and the board has shown a tendency towards cartoons in the past. He also has Addam's Family which is a classic and Tales From the Crypt which was a really fun series as well.

And for me both his netowkr and your network appeals to be far less then Hodgey's who just happens to be matched with Solly and didn't get my vote. Is it really that surprising that you might lose this one when you obviously drafted for yourself (which you should have) and you tend to like shows that have been cancelled after having short runs?

Mad Men is amazing. Anyone who isn't watching it should watch it. As Cole just said, Law & Order is a staple that's been around for about 19 years, and is still going. Doctor Who is very popular, and Star Trek is one of the biggest franchises ever-- and bd has The Next Generation, which was probably the most popular version of them all. Futurama rules, obviously. Invader Zim was a cartoon that more people should check out since it was fucking great, too. Shit, I used to have a Zim poster on my wall-- that's how much of a nerd I am. Dinosaurs was highly underrated.

And I'd watch The L Word over any of your girly stuff, Dev, since there would be a chance to see titties in it.

I voted for you, Sop. Buffy, Angel, Veronica Mars, and Firefly beat L&O, News Radio, and Futurama.

Most of my voting so far has been like that -- network 1 has 3 shows I'd watch, network 2 has 2 I'd watch, so 1 wins.

There isn't a single network in this thing that I'd watch even half of the programming on (including mine).

Dev, you REALLY overestimate the impact a couple of bad shows have on a network's view. Yes, bd has a night of chick shows I won't go near. So I just don't watch that night. I don't shun his network for it. You did the same argument with Gator and Sex in the City. "HOW CAN YOU VOTE FOR A NETWORK WITH THAT SHOW?!" Don't watch it. There's shows on your network I have as much interest in watching. Everyone has shows on their network people wouldn't ever turn on. I doubt there are that many shows that people despise so much that they ignore 17 other hours of programming because. If there was I wouldn't vote for 1 network with a reality show.

No. No way. It was closer to the Simpsons with puppets than Family Matters, but it was actually quite subversive if people got over the fact that it was indeed puppets. The two part War episode, Robbie challenging every tradition EVER, and the show in general mocking both Christmas (Fridge day!) and "very special" episodes with a segment after their...uh...very special drug episode (which actually made me want to smoke weed and hang out, there weren't a whole lot of negatives shown).

The show was great. Plus they killed every character in the finale.
