Byrne and his staples easily got past Fire and Mikey in the first round while Sharky and his reality shows got past DashBee by enough to move on. This match is a tough one to call as both have their qualities.

Sunday - Nothing at all for me on Sharks. I will watch Loop and occasionally Andy Richter/Parker Lewis.

Monday - House is my favorite show of the night and I'm going to watch that one live. But I'm watching Byrne's entire night (Shield on the DVR later)

Tuesday - Not too fond of either lineup. I'll watch Chappelle Show.

Wednesday - I might watch Comedy Central Presents if the performer was good enough.

Thursday - I'll watch Unsolved Mysteries.

Friday - Playmakers and ECW are the only shows I'm watching. Give me Playmakers live and ECW on DVR.

Missing a great show in that case, MKid, but I think you've missed a lot of great shows.

I'll do some day by day breakdown.

Sunday: Sharky sweeps. Not a huge fan of Bizarre Foods, but I can't stand a single thing on Byrne's Sunday.

Monday: I'll be fair, and push here. I won't choose between Monk and Burn Notice. At 10, I would pick House, but having never seen the Shield and hearing great things about it, I can only assume it is a good show. As for the 8 P.M hour, I'm more likely to watch Deal or No Deal than I am to watch CSI, but I'm calling this day a PUSH for now unless I need a tiebreaker.

Tuesday: I'd really rather not watch a thing on this night. I'd check out In Plain Sight, but I'd also watch Chappelle Show. I'll revisit this.

Wednesday: Sharky, hands down. Not on that fact that I like his shows more, I just like Byrne's shows less on this night.

Thursday: Nothing interests me.

Friday: Psych and Playmakers make this a must watch night.

Sharky gets the vote. It's not that Byrne has bad shows, just none that I'd be really interested in other than Burn Notice and MAYBE The Shield.

Eric, you should definitely give Byrne's Thursday a chance if you ever find yourself wanting to pick up a show and giving it a look. Supernatural has some decent horror elements on an episode by episode basis, and then there's also a good mystery element that spans the seasons. Much better acting from the two leads than I ever expected as well. They aren't great or anything, but for a WB/CW show, it's much better than you might expect. I've never seen Wonderfalls, but I do have it on DVD and it's been a show I've been wanting to watch for the longest time. Another show I've heard was cancelled far too soon. And Highlander is cheesy 80s fun. I think you'd enjoy most of them.

Wonderfalls was done by Tim Minear and the guy who did Pushing Daisys.

It is definetly a Whedonesque show in that regard. It's quite good, but be prepared to sit and watch it all in a couple sittings if it hooks you.
