Colt Cabana. I'm on the same boat. I will try and go through the Rumbles again, thanks to netflix, and get that answer. I remember seeing it in the crowd, but then I also seem to remember it spreading to a Monday Night Raw one or two times. You know how signs with something funny/interesting spread from one event to the next, and it may or may not be the same person with the sign.

I seem to remember JR calling Taker "Booger Red" on occasion.

And a history degree is usually a "gateway diploma" to Law School.

Man I don't know about law school. I remember when JR used to call Taker "Booger Red" alot. My website used to get flooded back then.

Oh man I have some stories. Have to get my son settled with some lunch and I'll get a couple written up.

My favorite road story of all time happened when I had my 120 day tryout with New York. I'm traveling with Foley, Road Dog, and Billy Gunn driving a Lincoln COntinental. The car had the heat controls on the steering wheel as well as the ability to lockout the dashboard panel where no one could mess with the temperature in the car.

Everybody is sound asleep and I'm dead ass tired driving from St Louis to Louisville when I decide to dutch oven everyone. I slowly start turning up the heat where it's 80 plus in the car. Keep in mind this was June when this happened. Finally Kip woke up bitching and he realized what was up when he saw me grunting trying to squeeze out a fart. "Oh fuckin' hell" and he grabs his shirt, yanking it up over his mouth. I let out my fart but what I never told anyone up to recently was that I actually shit my pants a little bit. Finally Foley wakes up and just looks at me with a stone face. I look at him and he says, "I can take it if you can." Jesse is now awake screaming to open the windows but I had 'em locked. Neither he or Kip realized I also hit the child locks when we stopped for gas. "You fuckin' suck" was the only thing Kip said to me as he was laughing his ass off. Finally Foley had enough and opened his door while doing 80+ on the interstate.

I saw Kip back in 2004 when I was living in Japan. He, Disco, Norman Smiley, and Albert came over for a USO show. I took 'em all out to Sushi but Kip almost refused to get in the van with me. Kept checking it for child locks saying, "This fucker will shit himself to get a rib over."

That's my favorite rib story. I got dared by Owen Hart to lock a bunch of people's bags together with a mound of padlocks he bought at a Home Depot. To keep the heat off me, I locked everyone's I could INCLUDING MINE but LEAVING OUT Owen's. Everybody thought it was him. He did a duct tape drive by on me to get me back. Came up behind me, and took a strip of duct tape to my goatee. Yeah that hurt.

My second favorite is during the same time frame taking Brian Lawler's rental and moving it at a rest area in the middle of Tennessee from the car side to behind the big trucks on the other. He and Scotty wound up calling the cops thinking their car was stolen. Dude shouldn't have left the keys running. When my deal was up I was thinking I was a shoe in, but sitting across from JR was a humbling experience. "You have the talent, the skill, and the look, but you lack timing."

Biggest win. WWOW World Title, Carnival City in South Africa in a cage against Wild Bill Brody. 10,321. Company ran one show, made a crap load of money, and folded. Still had the belt up until my move from Japan to Germany when it was stolen.

Have you ever worked with Jim Cornette, and is he really as batshit insane as he seems? (I'm referring to the recent e-mail he sent to Terry Taylor that has been published on some sites where he refers to murdering Vince Russo.)

You mentioned the few big names that you FACED, but did you ever TAG UP with any big names as well?

Did you ever make it onto RAW in any way? When was the very last match you wrestled?

Worked with Jim no. Hung out with him at a Waffle House from 11:30pm til 4am yes. I enjoyed every second of that. About 11 guys all stuffed into three tables. Listening to him talk was just..... Enlightening. I do know that he legitimately hates Vince Russo with every fiber of his existence. Almost in an entertaining way. In my opinion Jim Cornette refuses to move out of the wrestling existence that he was so accustomed to. Then again I'm sort of in the same boat. Probably why I haven't watched in so long other that fleeting passes here and there.

As far as guys I tagged with there have been several. Never really regular partners though - Greg Valentine, Disco Inferno - He was known as "The Brooklyn Stud" Glen Gilbernetti back then, Cactus Jack a couple of times, with the Gangstas once in a six man - That was a trip, Scott Norton on a few occasions, Mike Awesome in FMW. There's more but that's all I can recall off the top of my head.

No I was never on camera to my knowledge at a RAW. I've been AT them but if I was on camera I didn't know it.

Favorite sports? Baseball and MMA. St Louis Cardinals to be exact.

Fantasy Sports? Used to play baseball. The league I was in fizzled when two people passed away.

Comics no. Movies - Yeah somewhat.

Scare me in the ring. YES! New Jack. This was before he was "The Gangstas" and just as he and Mustapha formed the Gangstas. He really became unstable in my opinion around that time. My first match against Abdullah the Butcher, I was scared to death. Watched him for years growing up and hell if I didn't believe his gimmick. Kept telling me to relax. Still have the scar where his gigs hot me on the arm.

Yes I'm on two FMW commercial releases that I'm aware of. I have two tapes in my tuff box back home. I didn't take very good care of my photos and videos when I quit wrestling. What I did was round up everything left I could find and bought a tuff box. With the exception of my belts, I put everything in there for my son. Call me corny but if I die I want my son to be able to see what his dad used to do. Of course if I don't die, he'll be able to see anyway but atleast he'll be able to go through it with me. Everything from my booking contract to developmental evals. Next time I'm home (Arkansas). I honestly don't know if the tapes are playable anymore.

Most underrated worker I've dealt with. That's easy. Dan Hawke from the Missouri area. Very good friend of mine who passed away in 2004. Unfortunately in the 1994-1996 time when the folks in New York looked the other way on steroid use, they didn't look the other way when you were 5'7". He never even got a look which is very sad.

Favorite fighter right now would have to be Rampage Jackson and Brock Lesnar. I LOVED Lesnar's post Mir heel turn. The purists crucified him but it MADE the guy.

Personality most like my in ring persona. If I understand correctly are you asking what wrestler do I most resemble style wise in the ring? I took alot from MANY different people that I crossed paths with or liked growing up. I developed my own stuff and just blended things the best I could. Towards the end, if I HAD to pick someone I wrestled like the most - Stan Hansen.

You understood incorrectly, but that was a question I was thinking of asking, as well.

What I meant to ask was if there was anybody in the wrestling business who (in real life) was most like his/her in-ring persona, and if there was anybody who was (in real-life) least like his/her in-ring persona. Like if Abdullah was some sort of pacifist Pokemon-playing vegetarian, I think that would qualify for the "least like his in-ring persona" answer.

And Lesnar's heel turn was fucking classic. One of the few "mark out" moments I've had in MMA. Definitely polarized fans (which I feel is a very GOOD thing, in the same sense it works for wrestling) at a time when there are a lot of vanilla fighters out there. AND he can back it up, too. I'm drooling in anticipation of the Lesnar/Carwin fight.

Hansen, nice. PJC, can you describe how your character was like? Were you heel/face? Like I said, from the name alone, I had created an image of your wrestling character, but when I first saw your pic years ago, that image was completely wrong. I assume you weren't anything like the Scarface/Razor Ramon character I first envisioned.

No, no real stories about Smiley. Only met him once when he came over with a bunch of other guys. Swap an email with him from time to time but VERY infrequent. Nice, genuine guy though.

If Vince offered me a deal now, no I wouldn't go. It would kill me but I would have to turn it down. My kids need me too much and to hire someone to be here when my wife was at work is something I could never do. Now if my wife quit her job that's a different story - She would though if it ever happened but everything with Vince is so NOT long term when you're trying to crack in she would never give up her Government Health Insurance through the DoD.

I was a heel my entire career. Two promoters tried to turn me baby but it never worked.

When I first started out I was strictly comedy. After my first trip to Japan that all changed. I remember Mike Awesome telling me, "When these boys hit you they're not shootin' - Just hit 'em back." So I did. I worked for every off the wall small time deal I think I could work for in Japan. Every single place, was the same thing. They hit, and hit hard. So I hit just as hard. Joel Deaton noticed when I came back from my first trip over there which was three freaking months that I never lightened up. "Brother you just gotta do what you're comfortable with. If you wanna hit the Americans here just be prepared for the rep." So I did and the rest was history. I changed from comedy here in the states to more comedy but with a nasty streak. I bled ALOT. I found myself gravitating more to the old timers with road maps on their foreheads so I found myself gigging a BUNCH. Then I went to South Africa for the first time in 1999. There I would use an armbar as my finish. I'd beat the holy hell out of the other guys arm and then lock on an armbar if I was going over. Hell I'd tug on that sucker with my tongue out screaming. Went over well. My alternate was a Stan Hansen lariat.

Initially though, I claimed to be the tannest man in the world. Even had a cheapo belt made up calling myself the World Tanning Champion. Worked better when I had a full head of hair but started losing it early, so I shaved it off and went from there.

I danced around a bit I guess with my answer. Hopefully I covered it.

HAH! The World Tanning Championship sounds like something straight out of the OOWF, and I'm sure you'd fit in perfectly if you're ever in the mood to cut promos once in awhile (via message board, of course). It's basically an e-fed run around here and Online Onslaught by a guy named Moosehead Jack. Pretty much guys just cutting promos throughout the week followed by Moosey and a few other guys writing up matches at regular intervals. Fun stuff if you're ever in the mood for that sort of thing. Just be warned that things often tend to the comedy side of things, overall.
