I'm throwing a vote to Serge on this one, but Blitz's band is awesome.

Ok, I'm going to try to change some minds to survive here.

Conceded, for guitar Blitz has me beat. Prince is an awesome guitar player, but in Berry and Hendrix Blitz has two guitar players who are indisputable both more important to the history of electric guitar and even a little more awesome.

BUT, the electric guitar is not the only lead solo instrument in the world. Armstrong on trumpet is every bit as historically significant AND awesome as Hendrix or Berry's guitar solos.

Now lets take a look at lead singers. Blitz has Jagger, Hendrix, and Berry. I've got Elvis, Jerry Lee, Prince, and Louis Armstrong. Advantage: the Originals.

And finally, the rhythm section. For a rock group, Barefoot Sex has a pretty impressive one. Entwhistle is one of the most admired bass players in rock music. Jamerson is thought by many to be the greatest electric bass players in ANY genre and played on more #1 hit songs than any other musician. Advantage: the Originals.

Bonham is a talented player with a muscular sound. But...
