I posted this in the Draft thread but it got buried.
Draft should end soon, hopefully. That takes us to the next step and here's how I see it playing out.
Sunday at 8 PM EST - I will announce waiver claims. This is simple. If you want a "free agent" PM me with who you want and who you will be dropping (assuming you don't have an open roster spot). At 8 PM I'll process all of them and announce them, updating the rosters. If 2 people want the same guy that's where waivers come in as the guy with a higher priority will get him. Priority will be based on the reverse order of the 1st Rd.
Once I've announced waivers unrestricted free agency will begin meaning you can add and drop anyone you like. The reason we're doing waivers is so no one gets screwed just because they can't be around at 8 PM. But after that you guys can have free reign as long as you stick to the 40 roster limit. All you do is announce the move in the Draft thread.
Tuesday at 12 PM EST - Free agency ends and the showdowns for Rd 1 go up. You must send me your card by then and it MUST have everyone used valid. 2 locked in announcers and no one used in a way they can't be used in. I'll put the showdowns up and they'll run for 6 days. The 1st round will be 3 way matches with the top two advancing, after that it will be a straight up tournament of 16.
Monday at 12 PM EST - The showdowns end and you have 2 options available to you for the next Rd. (1) You can change the card if you wish (including changing announcers) but you don't have to. If you don't send a new card I will simply use your card from the previous round. (2) Anyone who advances is free to make ONE free agent move, but only one. Quite possibly something that doesn't get used but a way to tell some stories if you like.
Tuesday at 12 PM EST - The next round of showdowns goes up. No more adds and anyone who hasn't sent a changed card uses their old card. Then the cycle continues with a 6 day showdown, 1 day of free agency add/card changing, and then the next round.
Clear?
