The Old-School announce desk is beside the ring in an empty arena. Marc Lowrence & Bill Mercer are seated at the desk.

ML: Welcome again folks, as we get you ready for “Last Stand” Lone Star Wrestling’s latest mega-event. The Cotton Bowl in Dallas is home to this absolutely PACKED card, Bill, lets run it down for the viewers

BM: Marc, there’s nowhere better to start than the HUGE STEEL CAGE Match. Skandor Akbar’s war against the Von Erich family has taken it’s toll. Not only does he control the wrestling contract of young Mike, he used Mike to cost Kevin & Kerry the World Tag Team Titles in a match against his team, The Japanese Invasion. Mike has started to fight back, showing some resistance to Akbar’s orders lately, thanks in part to the strong words at “Capital Carnage” from Dory Funk Sr. Kevin and Kerry challenged Akbar to any kind of match he wanted to win back control of Mike Von Erich’s contract. Akbar came up with this Elimination Cage Match, but upped the ante so to speak. He demanded that if Mike Lose, Akbar himself gains control of the contract of another Von Erich brother. And in an evil twist, said he will make Mike choose which brother he gets control of. Kevin and Kerry agreed, as long as Mike was permitted to wrestle freely on his brother’s team.

ML: We were all set to have David, Mike, Kevin & Kerry face Akbar’s Army, but David was ordered by LSW management to defend the World Championship that same night, so he was forced to bow out. It looked like Akbar’s Army would have a 4 on 3 advantage, when Darin Childs stepped up and offered to team up with the Von Erich family. Childs’ rivalry with The Missing Link has escalated in the past few weeks, with numerous backstage and post-match attacks between the two. Kevin and Kerry welcomed him aboard, and so we’re set for the Cotton Bowl. Darin Childs, Kevin, Kerry AND Mike Von Erich taking on The Missing Link, The Japanese Invasion (Jumbo Tsuruta & Genichiro Tenryu) and Skandor Akbar HIMSELF in an Elimination Tag Team Match INSIDE of a Steel Cage. Fans, this one is a match not to be missed!

BM: We mentioned the world champion, David Von Erich, begin forced to bow out of the cage match. David will be putting his World Championship on the line again against Dory Funk Jr. Dory took down Ric Flair at “Capital Carnage”, and then that disrespectful slap to Flair’s face. David said in an interview that he thought Dory Jr had more class than that, and called the slap 'cowardly'. Dory naturally took offense, and with the big win versus Flair on his resume, issued the challenge to David to “Call him a coward to his face” So In the main event, just moments after his brother’s cage match, David Von Erich will be taking on Dory Funk Jr with the World Championship on the line.

ML: And we’re still not out of big matches yet! We saw at the close of “Capital Carnage” the forming of an alliance between the Dynamic Duo, Chris Adams & Gino Hernandez and Tully Blanchard and Baby Doll. In the following weeks, Tully proclaimed their union to be “More valuable than Gold, More precious than Platinum, and as Strong as Titanium” and the group has anointed themselves as the Titanium Trio. The Freebirds have come out and attacked the Titanium Trio ever since, disputing their claims to be the most dominant force in Lone Star Wrestling. Jimmy Garvin answered back, saying the only thing precious in wrestling was his valet, Precious; and that the only gold that was valuable was the gold around the Freebird’s waists. After pointing out that the Titanium Trio had no titles to speak of, Jimmy Garvin, Michael Hayes & “Iceman” King Parsons accepted the Trio’s challenge to the Six-Man Titles at “Last Stand.” As far as both these groups are concerned, the winner gets the titles and proves their dominance over LSW.

BM: Speaking of challenges, Dick Murdoch issued an open challenge to anyone in LSW to come and take his Brass Knuckles Title. Several men have stepped up, including Manny Fernandez, Fritz Von Erich, Brian Adias, Thunderbolt Patterson, Black Bart AND Dory Funk Sr! Murdoch might have bitten off more than he can chew with six different challengers going at it with him at once, but we’ve seen Murdoch defend that title in the most brutal conditions in the past. This Texas Death Match will no doubt be a brutal, bloody affair.

ML: The match I personally am looking forward to the most is our Television Title match. Dusty Rhodes has been defending that title each week, and has been using the figure four leglock to achieve most of those wins. Well, you know The Nature Boy, he can’t keep his mouth shut for a minute, and Ric Flair has called out Dusty for using His move! Flair amped up this rivalry with typical Nature Boy insults to Dusty’s heritage, physique, hair, clothes and worst of all, his wife! Dusty has heard enough and so at “Last Stand” we will have a Submission Match between The American Dream and The Nature Boy. For the Television Title.

BM: And still two more title matches to talk about Marc. Wahoo McDaniel has challenged “The Latin Hearthrob” Al Perez for his newly acquired Southwest Championship. Perez spit in Wahoo’s face just recently, and the Indian Blood is Boiling!
Also, fresh from snapping their losing streak, Jack Victory and John Tatum are once again challenging The Fantastics for the Texas Tag Team Titles. Tommy & Bobby are always up for a challenge, but will Sunshine’s boy’s recent momentum carry them to the belts?

ML: And don’t forget the PPV debut of The Border Patrol, Chavo Guerrero & Jose Lothario as they take on Kendall Windham & Bobby Duncum Jr.!

Perez tried to end it early on with several power moves and then trying a brainbuster. Wahoo blocks the move, reverses it into a suplex of his own and gains control. Perez blocks a chop, and picks Wahoo up in a firemans carry. McDaniel slides off Perez’s back. Runs him into the ropes and rolls him up for the 1…2…3! New Southwestern Champion! WINNER: Wahoo McDaniel

Texas Tag Team Titles
The Fantastics (Tommy Rogers & Bobby Fulton) v Jack Victory & John Tatum w/ Sunshine

Extended battle, unlike their last encounter. Both Fulton & Rogers spend time playing Ricky Morton. Sunshine gets involved several times, breaking up a pinfall and distracting the referee. Tatum rakes Fulton’s eyes and goes for a DDT. Rogers runs in and dropkicks Tatum. Victory runs in and takes Tommy to the floor. Fulton is in the corner regaining his senses when Sunshine pulls him to her and kisses him! Fulton is surprised, and that leaves him open for a shot from behind from Tatum. A DDT later, and we have new Champs! WINNERS: John Tatum & Jack Victory

Brass Knuckles Title – Open Challenge Texas Death Match
Dick Murdoch v Manny Fernandez v Dory Funk Sr v Fritz Von Erich v Thunderbolt Patterson v Black Bart v Brian Adias

Pier 6 brawl from the bell. Battles range all over. Funk & Von Erich paired up early and they brawl through the crowd and eventually out to the street brusing each other with anything near by, including a pedestrians umbrella. Adias gets taken out of commission early by patterson, as he and Murdoch battled through the crowd, Dick tosses Adias over a railing and down a starwell. Black Bart takes the loss as Fernandez & Patterson both clobber him with baseball bat shots and he falls to the mat. Thunderbolt makes the cover, then Fernandez piles on top of him as the official makes the three count. Both Manny and Thunderbolt celebrate as if they have won the match, and the referee declares the match a…Tie? The Raging Bull earns his nickname as he attacks the referee and Patterson grabs the title and heads to the back. WINNERS: Manny Fernandez & Thunderbolt Patterson?

Television Championship – Submission Match
Dusty Rhodes v Ric Flair

Unexpected clean match from the two rivals. As expected, both men make numerous attempts to lock in the figure four, but neither one is successful. Dusty uses a sleeper hold, Cobra Clutch and even an Indian Deathlock at various points. Flair attempts a Torture Rack, but can’t get Dusty in the air. Ric uses an Abdominal stretch and has it snared for nearly 4 minutes (with some rope leverage mixed in) Dusty gets chopped blocked, and is hobbling about on one knee. Ric seems to be setting him up for another figure four attempt, but instead jumps on Dusty’s back and grabs a sleeperhold. Dusty is forced off his feet and Flair gains the leverage advantage. Dusty tries to fight to hos feet, but falls again as his knee wont support his weight. Flair grabs the bad leg and uses a single-leg crab to get to submission win and the Television Title! WINNER: Ric Flair

Six-Man Tag Team Championships
The Freebirds (Michael “P.S.” Hayes, “Iceman” King Parsons & “Gorgeous” Jimmy Garvin w/ Precious) v The Titanium Trio (Chris Adams, Gino Hernandez & Tully Blanchard) w/ Baby Doll

The Titamium Trio don’t wait on the bell, as they run up the ramp and begin the fight as the Freebirds head down the ramp. Parsons gets thrown into the crowd and Adams superkicks Garvin in the head and he hits the ground hard. Baby Doll & Precious even get into the action, pulling hair and slapping the hell out of each other Baby Doll’s size advantage allows her to push precious to the ground and tear off her dress! Precious runs for the back in just her bra and panties! The crowd is stunned. Order never really gets restored Hayes gets triple teamed and rolled into the ring. Gino goes in and the bell rings. Hernandez doesn’t really wrestl Hayes, more like he knees across his chest and proceeds to pound the life out of him. Parsons runs in and gets leveled with a chair by Tully. Blanchard slams Iceman through the announce table and takes a piece of the broken wood and tries to jam it into Icemans Eye socket. The official has seen enough and DQ’s the Trio, giving the win to The Freebirds. WINNERS: The Freebirds

Escape rules do not apply here, as the cage is used to keep outside forces out. Link goes out first thanks to Darin Childs. Childs is eliminated by Tsuruta. Tenryu is then eliminated by Kerry. Akbar has not gotten involved yet and is clearly cowering in the corner. Jumbo does his best to take the Von Erichs out himself. He pins Kerry after blocking a discus punch and hitting a belly to belly suplex. Kevin and Mike’s constant tags in and out wear him down. Tsuruta stumbles back into his corner, but Akbar refuses to tag in. Tsuruta tries to argue with his manager, and turns around into a body press by Kevin. Akbar finds himself alone and refuses to enter the ring. Kevin and Mike both assist him in with a double hiptoss. Kevin backs off and allows Mike to simply beat the living snot out of his tormentor. Mike locks in the claw and powers Akbar down. Mike body slams him and climbs to the top rope, then up the cage to the top of the steel. Body Press from the Top of the Cage! Kevin joins the referee and pounds out the 1…2…3! WINNERS: Mike, Kevin & Kerry Von Erich and Darin Childs.

Post match, David joins his brothers as they celebrate. Suddenly, Blanchard, Adams and Hernandez attack! Tully goes right after David and they battle aroud the ring. Adams and Hernandez battle the other brothers, but quickly Akbar’s army joins the fray. Childs is there as well and bodies begin to fly everywhere. The Dymainc Duo proceed to attack the tag team champions, the Japanese Invasion while Tully bloodies David. Security runs in to break it all up. And Adams, Hernandez and Blanchard leave together, smiling for the cameras

World Heavyweight Championship
David Von Erich v Dory Funk Jr

David and Dory circle each other slowly as they get underway. David seems to be feeling the effects of the melee prior to this match. Funk gains the advantage and wears David out for a good 12 minutes. David starts to make a comeback, but here comes Blanchard! Tully stops outside the ring and begins to taunt Von Erich Funk yells at Blanchard to go away, and David catches him with the Iron Claw. Tully tugs at David’s boots, and Von Erich kicks at Tully. Funk catches David from behind with a backslide for 1…2…and NEARLY 3 as David kicks out. Funk is right back on David with an abdominal stretch. Tully chants ‘quit’ at David and the referee turns and orders Tully to the back. With the referee not looking, he misses Funk’s Sunset flip and pinfall on David that could have went for a 5 count. By the time he turns around and starts a count, David is up at 2. Dory tries a quick small package, but David shifts his weight and captures the win WINNER: David Von Erich.

Post match Blanchard and his cronies are quick to strike again, only chased off by Kevin, Kerry and Mike as we go off air.
