I was curious if anyone else has had a chance to check this out. I had seen numerous previews for it but due to the nature of them it left a lot of mystery as to what exactly this movie was about.
So only knowing that it had pretty intense audience reactions and some sheets moving without any human hands pulling them I let my curiosity get the best of me.
After completing my viewing I admit that i was pleasantly surprised - the similarities to this and Blair Witch are going to be there, but i feel this one has better pacing and i was literally sitting on my edge of my seat during the last 30 minutes of the movie wondering WTF was gonna happen next to this poor couple.
I thoroughly enjoyed the film and i feel that the less known about whats going on with the couple the better - the way everything panned out, it felt that i, as an audience member, was going through this tough situation with them - which only made me appreciate this film that much more after it had ended.

I had a buddy see it last weekend. He tried to convince me to see it, and I shot that down pretty fast. He said it was ok, but just not worth the hype that the commercial gives it. In my opinion, any movie preview commercial that shows the audience reaction watching the movie or after the movie pretty much says to me that the movie is a dud. If the film is good, the preview commercial will stand on it's own and draw people in. Since I haven't seen the film, my opinion is obviously lower than someone who has. However, if scary movies are your thing, I would suggest waiting a few weeks and go see The Fourth Kind. I have heard some good things about this film.
I've heard people being excited for this film before they see it based on the previews. Most people Ive talked to who have actually seen it say it's overrated to the point that it's bad based on the hype/anticipation. Nice to see someone enjoyed it.
