In Cyclops' never ending self righteous need to lead and save everybody he's taken on the task of keeping some of his oldest enemies on the straight and narrow. With the aid of his really bitch and manipulative whore of a wife Emma Frost they've taken on that whiny arrogant sack of douche Quicksilver and that incredibly callous and deceitful jezebel Mystique. Guy Gardner's just a giant douche and he's here for 3 reasons. (1) It is so much fun to drive Cyclops crazy. (2) Have you seen Emma's outfits? (3) Mystique could make herself look like anyone. ANYONE! It doesn't even matter to him how many times Emma uses her psychic powers to make his food taste like crap or leave Quicksilver naked in his bed. As long as it keeps pissing off Cyclops its all good, because he's wearing her down.

Cyclops wants to call the team "X-something" and Guy's got all kinds of great ideas but since neither can agree on a name the team has been unofficially dubbed "The Douche Patrol" by someone in the superhero community. Rumor is it was Ted Kord. Actually Ted told us, so it was him.

Cap and Thing are the greatest core for a team. I think the rest of that team make for a really akward fit. I see Cap and Thing as guys who can handle anything, not just street-fighting. Douches.
