I guess. I never really followed the comics or the old TV shows (no old jokes, Solly!) It seems to me from the trailer that Kato does most of the heavy lifting. Is that the way it's always been?

Kato was played by Bruce Lee originally, so you'd hope so. He was expected to lose a fight to Robin in an Adam West Batman crossover, but just shook his head and got it changed to a draw. Anyway, THIS...ehhh. I was more excited when Stephen Chow was attached to direct and play Kato. This could be good with the focus on Kato, but it'll really depend on how well Seth Rogen will fit in it, and as the guy who wrote the thing, it seems rather than try to actually BE the Green Hornet, he's just reworked the character to be more like the sort of guys he usually plays. The trailer confused me though because at one point it makes it seem like he's inheriting the Green Hornet role from his father, but then makes clear he originates it. Also, it shows just how cliche an unnecessary romantic subplot is when they do the very bare minimum to show it in the trailer, like with Cameron Diaz's character literally having 3 seconds of screentime in it and her one line is introducing herself.
