Strike Force vs Demolition, WWF World Tag Team Championships, Wrestlemania IV
Get'm warmed up with the energetic faces and the cheat to win finish with Mr. Fuji
Billy Kidman vs Rey Mysterio Jr. vs Juventud Guererra vs Psycosis, WCW Cruiserweight Championship, Souled Out 99
Classic Nitro-era Cruiserweight match. Get the crowd pumped back up after the letdown of the opening match finish
The Von Erichs vs. The Dynamic Duo, Hair vs Hair Match, NWA American Tag Team Titles, WCCW Cotton Bowl Extravaganza '85
WHo gets shaved bald? One of the most underrated rivalries of the 80's comes to a head. [/bad pun]
Chris Benoit vs. Shawn Michaels vs. HHH, World Heavyweight Title, Backlash '04
Michales taps out. To a Sharpshooter. In Canada. You can still hear the crowd pop echoing.
The Road Warriors vs. The Midnight Express, Skywalkers Match, Starrcade '86
Not a great technical classic, but the spectacle of the scaffolding going up catches you off guard. Not only do the bad guys lose, you get the bonus of Jim Cornette taking the plunge as well.
Sting vs. Ravishing Rick Rude, WCW International World Title, Spring Stampede '94
Bring the crowd back Classic Heel v Face. Two of the best in the business
And Now, LOWER THE CAGE
The Rock & Roll Express vs Ivan and Nikita Koloff, Steel Cage Match, NWA World Tag Team Championships, Starrcade 85
Tag Team Formula x 1000000. There's a reason they call the Face-In-Peril "Playing Ricky Morton"
Magnum T.A. vs. Tully Blanchard, I Quit Steel Cage Match, NWA United States Title, Starrcade '85
Ugly, Guesome. Still one of the original "Turn your head" Bloody matches. Blanchard was underrated in the ring, and TA had ALL the tools to be a huge star.
Ric Flair vs. Harley Race, Steel Cage Match, NWA World Title, Starrcade '83
Even though this was Flair's second NWA Title win, This one made him a permanent fixture. Race passed the torch here.
Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant, WWF World Title, WrestleMania III
The Moment at The Show is Hogan slamming Andre. Everyone involved tells the tale that Hogan was unsure up until bell time if Andre was really going to let him get the win. This one Didn't just make Hogan, Andre or the WWF, It made WRESTLING legit again.
