Draft a band.
Dash's rules from last time around are as follows:
I think they're pretty solid. A couple of caveats:
I'm thinking we should leave the signup period open for a full week to allow for some of the less frequent posters to get in on this if they want. I'll close signups and post the draft order sometime on the morning of Monday, Nov. 29, and the draft will start at noon ET that day.
Also, it'd be swell if we could avoid spending the next week talking about eligibility. The purpose of the draft is to put a band of professional musicians together. Not a band of fictional characters or circus animals (regardless of whether they play instruments). No computers, either. This draft is for human musicians. If you don't think you can handle picking six of those, don't play.
So, this thread is on. Sign up and/or discuss as you see fit.

Dash's rules from last time around are as follows:
Band members (6)
Vocalist (1), Guitar (1), Bass (1), Drums (1), Utility (2)
Notes
1. You must fill each slot.
2. You're free to change the slot if that individual qualifies (ex: Prince as drafted as a vocalist, moved to guitar -- this would be fine).
3. If anyone's qualifications are questioned, simply provide some supporting documentation. If it's obvious, I'll make the call. Otherwise, the group can vote/come to a consensus. If we can't, I will decide.
4. Back-to-back (or more multiple) picks will be given the same time clock as a single pick. If the first clock expires, the picks in a row are skipped, and the next individual with a pick is up.
5. Clock time is 8 hours.
6. Each group needs a name. If you can't come up with one, go with something lame like "Dashbee's Band" or "The Dashbees."
7. Set-lists are completely optional.

I think they're pretty solid. A couple of caveats:
- No overnight clock stoppage.
- No penalty for missed clocks (aside from the ire of your drafting compatriots).
- If someone makes an ineligible pick, it's as if their clock ran out. The next person is up, and the drafter who made the ineligible pick can repick at any time. (If this comes up, it'll be up to whoever follows the ineligible pick whether to wait for the pick to be fixed or move along.)
- Gator Rule: Abraham Lincoln is NOT eligible to be drafted.
