The way my meal goes is as follow:

Get to a pub a little early before the the game starts (like Habs vs Bruins in the second round of the playoffs) and sit at the bar in front of the big screen.

Start things off with a nice cold Guinness. This drink will be automatically refilled throughout the game.
Before the first period starts, you order the Bacon Wrapped Poppers. They should be arriving at around the 5 to 7 minutes mark. Enjoy those babies while watching the game and arguing with fellow patrons and why it was a good idea to keep Price and get rid of Halak.

First intermission. They are removing your empty plate, serving you your 3rd Guinness. While this is being done you can look around a little, see what's up tonight. It's also time to order the nachos with fresh guacamole and fresh salsa. Again this should arrive early in the second period. Now this is an hefty plate, so you take your time whit it enjoying the nachos with salsa and guacamole, and enjoying the game. You can comment on the good or bad calls the ref made and if that goal was good or not.

By the time your finished with the nachos, the 3rd is about to start. Your not halfway through your fourth Guinness yet, and now you are fully attentive to the game. The play is ruff the Habs lead by only one goal. The Guinness is still cold as you sit it (it is your forth) while barely taking your eyes away from the game, if only to look at that cute girl that just came in and sits next to you.

Finally the buzzer sounds, and the Bruins, even with removing Thomas from goal for that last minute, couldn't tie the game. Satisfied, you decide to indulge a little and order the New York style cheesecake. You ask for two forks and strike up a conversation with the cute girl. First thing you know, you're in heaven: you had good beer, good food, your team won, and the cute girl is eating your cake!
