This guy comes up to a podium.



He bends over at the podium and puts the mic near his hair. IT SPEAKS!

Doughawk: I am the Doughawk! You will all marvel at my awesomeness! I am so awesome that I will give others a chance to redeem themselves through association with me! For too long many a wrestler has been lost in the shuffle as former partners have climbed to the top. Player Two Wrestling aims to change that! Our first act of redemption goes to a man who has been defined my making the wrong choices! We now give him a chance to redeem himself! Once he was thrown through a glass window, now he can break through the glass ceiling! Meet our world champion Marty Jannetty!



Marty: I want to say thank you for being given this opportunity. Everyone has the potential to make bad choices. To turn left when they should have gone right. More often then not, I made those choices. Now I have a chance to change and show everyone that being "The Jannetty" in a team does not need to be a bad th....

Jannetty's words are cut off by the arrival of this man.



Razor: Hey Yo! Did someone just mention the Bad Guy. (Razor pauses to smirk.) What is up with this no one being handed the World title. I was part of the first ever ppv ladder match, and was the founder of the angle that revolutionized wrestling. The Bad guy knows everyone came to see him, so he deserves the world title.

Razor then flicks his toothpick at Marty.

Marty: You are a pompous jackass who made as many mistakes as me, but had your friends and backstage politicking carry you to the top. That won't work here. Now you have to get buy on your in ring merit. So I won't just be handled the title. At our first PPV Rising from the Ashes (cheap pop). I challenge you to a ladder match for the world title.

The Doughawk: The Doughawk approves! Ramon! Jannetty! LADDERMATCH! Make it so!

With that the Doughawk leaves, and Marty and Ramon engage in a showdown of intensity as the scene fades.

[Doug]

The Doughawk approaches the podium.

Doughawk: Tag Teams! We have them! This is one!

With that the Doughawk leaves and Mark Briscoe and Jack Briscoe approach the podium.

Mark: What the hell is this. I was told I was being given a chance to really elevate myself, and I'm stuck with this old fart.

Jack: Watch your mouth whippersnapper, I've broken better men then you. We have to tag, so let's make the most of it.

Mark: Whatever old man, just stay out of my way and watch how a real Briscoe handles things.

Suddenly Reverend D-Von enters the scene with mic in hand.

D-Von: Ohhh my brothers. Be at peace. Do not flaunt your heathen ways. Repent of your sins. Judgment is coming and you sinners will soon pay. The Ax and the Anvil of the Rapture shall soon fall upon you!

Jack: The Axe and the Anvil?

Mark: What the hell does that mea....

His words are cut off as Jim "The Anvil" Niedhart and "Demolition" Axe pearl harbor them from behind beating them down. D-Von walks in closer to stand over them.

D-Von: At Rising from the Ashes, the Rapture shall descend upon you. My mighty seals shall deliver judgment upon you. Repent and huddle in fear, for the glory of my word is upon you. OHHHHHH MY BROTHER TESTIFY!

Security rushes the scene to break things up as the camera Fades.

[Doug]

The Doughawk walks up to the podium.

Doughawk: High Flyers! Make it happen!



Pillman: A lot of people remember me as a loose cannon. How soon they forget that I started as Flyin Brian. There is a reason I was choose to open up the very first ever Monday Nitro. So at rising from the ashes, I'm giving an open challenge to any other high risk wrestler willing to step in the ring with me.



Elix: It's primetime baby! You talk about nitro like that should impress this generation. I was one of the cornerstones of the true height of WCW cruiserweight action. Plus I helped put TNA on the map as a member of XXX. If you want a challenge, I'm your man.



Lash: Hey now, it may have been the "dying days of WCW", but I think my work with the MIA was some great high flying hard hitting action. It may not get the same respect, but it was just as good. If anyone deserves to be in this match, it's me.



Primo: WCW, WCW, WCW, I am so sick of hearing about WCW. That company died. No one cares about it anymore. I would easily wipe the floor with any of you. I can show the world what true MODERN high flying action really is.

All four men look ready to rumble when the doughawk steps back up to the podium.

Doughawk: I like it! Up the Ante! It's now a title match! The Hawk Division is born!

The scene fades as the four competitors stare each other down.

[Doug]

Tessmacher: I'm here to announce that I have found a wrestler that has been constantly been seen as a second banana. He was always overshadowed by his mentor, his tag partner, even his wife. But no more. With me in his corner this man will take Player Two Wrestling by the neck and make it his bitch. My new project....Charlie Haas.



Haas: In the WWE I was treated as a joke, teamed with Rico, made into a comedy act. I feuded with Viscera over horse faced Lillian for gods sake. No more. In PTW I will get to show just how much talent, and how serious of a competitor I can be.

The copacabana starts playing over the speakers as this man enters.



Colt: Whats wrong with a little comedy man. The people are here to be entertained, and if he wan can make em laugh, good on us.

Tessmacher: You are a joke "Scotty". Charlie is not dealing with jokes anymore. Go take your sideshow act somewhere else.

Colt: Ahhh, you hurt my feelings. Come on me and Charlie can have a fun little match and make the crowd happy.

Tessmacher: We don't care about the crowd, and we don't care about you. Why should we waste are time with you?

Colt: (holds up the Intercontinental title) Maybe cause the Doughawk said it could be for this.

Suddenly smiles light up both Haas and Tessmachers face.

Tessmacher: You have your match. Enjoy your 15 minutes "Goldman" After this, you are done.

Colt: You wound me.

Haas: No, but at rising from the ashes, I will.

Player Two Wrestling From the Ashes the results

The show opens with the Natural Disasters losing a close brawl with the sheepherders after Roadkill pins Hurricane Rosey.

Chavo Guerroro defeats Rick Steiner after interference from Reverend D-Von revealing Chavo as a new member of the rapture

Justin Credible wins the hardcore title after a sterotypical garbage brawl

Fatt No More hits the death sentence on Totally not gay to become number one tag team contendors

Brian Pillman eliminates Primo followed by Elix eliminating Lash. Brian and Elix fight, and Elix shocks Brian by scoring the upset win.

The Rapture defeat The Briscoes due to D-von distracting the ref allowing Axe to nail Jack with a loaded bible

Charlie Hass defeats Colt Cabanan when he gets distracted by pulling down Tessmachers skirt allowing Haas to get a schoolboy rollup

Marty Jannetty wins a hardfought ladder match. Afterwards the Rapture invades the ring to beat down Jannetty, and Razor surprises everyone by fighting them off.

Marty: I should be happy now. I've done it, I hold heavyweight gold, but the only thing I remember is being beat down by a mob attack. D-Von, your holy war stops here. At Reforging I will strike down your Holy Warrior Chavo Guerrero and take my place at the top.

Jannetty is cut off as The Rapture led by Reverend D-Von make there way out.

D-Von: Ohh my brothers Testify! The sinning ways of this company shall be purged. Already The Axe and the Anvil have claimed tag team righteousness, and now My holy warrior will claim the world championship. You will repent and be judged, for the rapture is upon yo.....

D-Von is cut off by the arrival of this man



Hall: Hey Yo! The bad guy, he doesn't like loosing, but he likes being upstaged even less. I deserve a rematch with Jannetty, but they say that can't happen with your boy getting a shot. So I'm going to make sure you don't get involved.

D-Von: And how will you do that heathen?

Hall: By becoming the special guest ref. Score another one for the good guys.

With that Hall flicks a toothpick into D-Von's face. The rapture looks ready to attack, when suddenly Matt Hardy and Chris Harris show up.

Hardy: I would not do that if I where you. Me and Harris have a shot at those tag belts, and we have no problem softening you up before the show.

Harris: We have heard the taunts...Wildfatt, Version fudge... Well we are Fatt no More! If you want to be the Rapture, at Reforging, we will be your Motherfucking Apocalypse.

All eight men look ready to brawl when security floods the scene and we FADE

[Doug]

The Scene comes up and we see Mark and Jack Briscoe at the podium.

Mark: We got screwed man. We should be champs.

Jack: D-Von should never have been involved, we deserve a rematch!

suddenly Buff and Chuck show up.

Buff: Hit the bricks. you guys are yesterdays news.

Chuck: You tell em Buff!

Buff: if anyone deserves a title shot, it's the two best looking guys in the buisness.

Chuck: you tell em Buff!

Buff: So step aside rednecks, and let real American Males shine.

Chuck: You tell em Buff!

suddenly Roadkill and Butch show up.

Butch: You both have one thing in common, you know what that was roadkill?

Roadkill: they lost last week?

Butch: Exactly mate. what did we do last week?

Roadkill: Win?

Butch: Exactly mate. If anyone deserves a title shot, it's us.

With that Amish Sheepherders attack both teams and a brawl erupts. The Doughawk rushes to the podium.

Doughawk: Smell the ratings! PPV! Number one contendor three way!

[Doug]

Tessmacher: At rising from the ashes, Charlie shut the mouth of that comedy act Colt Cabanna. Now we are looking for serious competition. So I am issuing an open challenge to anyone who wants to challenge for the Intercontinetal tytle.

Copa Cabanna plays as Colt Cabanna makes his way out. Charlie Haas moves to block him.

Haas: Get out of here Colt, I beat you once. You don't get a rematch.

Colt: Calm down, I'm not looking for a match. I've decided my place is in the announce booth, but if you want a true challenge, I've found just the guy.

Flyin Brian Pillman walks into the scene.

Miss Tessmacher: We are supposed to be impressed by this loser? He lost at the PPV, we won.

Pillman: Trying to get me angry? Turn me into a loose cannon? Well it's not going to happen. This is a brand new Brian Pillman. I plan on soaring to new hights in this company, starting with that Intercontinental title.

Haas and Pillman do the intense staredown before Pillman smirks and begins to leave.

Colt: See you at the PPV ladies and germs.
