It's kinda funny, but I hate just about every Coen Bros. movie except this one. No Country For Old Men was okay but I only saw it in the theatre, so I have no idea if I still like it. And even with Lebowski, I hate Julianne Moore in it (I think I just don't like her. For some reason, her and Andy Garcia are two actors that I just don't like). I hated Fargo, Raising Arizona, basically everything. They just have dumb characters that do dumb things without thinking. Meh.

But between The Dude, Walter and Donny, TBL is fucking sweet.

What was your opinion on the Coen Bros. remake of True Grit?

It's funny that that was the last Coen movie I saw and I forgot about it. It was okay. I liked it. I think if there were more westerns made these days I don't think it would have been held in such high regard.

But I'd lump that in as a good one, although that was a remake of a movie based on a book and No Country was based on a book. I'm sure others were, too, but whatever.
