Some people have been asking for this draft so I think I'll start it after Ho Down 2 is over. Ideally, I'd like ten people, but the more the merrier. I've come up with some more streamlined rules to make it less confusing and to focus on what the conferences themselves obviously do. Here's my vision:
We will continue with polls as we did last year, however, there will be fewer. There will be Football, Men's Basketball, Women's Sports, Fringe Sports. That's it. Football and/or basketball may also be weighted for value.
There will be a bonus point system based on geographical and market considerations. My current idea is a bonus point for every school that is in a state that borders another. Ex: two bonus points if you have schools in California and Nevada. Three points if you have two schools in California and one in Nevada. So, obviously, you can get up to sixteen points if you keep geography in mind.
Market share would also earn you bonus points, based on the top 25 cities by urban population. You'd get points for schools in these cities (or being the big schools for that city, ex: Ohio St. would get you Cleveland even though Ohio St. is in Columbus). You'd get 5 pts. for having any of the big 3 (New York, Los Angeles, Chicago), 4 pts for 4 & 5 (Philadelphia & Miami), 3 pts for 6-10 (Dallas/FW, Boston, Washington DC, Detroit, Houston) 2 pts for 11-20 (Atlanta, Bay Area, Phoenix, Seattle, San Diego, Twin Cities, St. Louis, Baltimore, Tampa Bay Area, Denver) and 1 pt for 21-23 (Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Portland - 24 is San Jose which I will include for Bay Area and 25 is Riverside, CA which really isn't a big TV market despite it's population) You will only receive these points once (so having two NY schools still only gets you five bonus points). I will listen to arguments for certain schools, but remember that I am a Geography major, so it'll be hard to pull the wool over my eyes. So make it a good one.
I'd like to expand it to 16 picks this year.

Edit: When you sign up, please include your location & time zone so I can set up the clock suspension. If you don;t remember my clock suspension rules, here it is:
Between the hours of 1 AM and 9 AM YOUR time, you are not on the clock. If you are on the clock when your clock suspension begins, you will have no more than two hours after 9 AM your time. If your clock begins during suspension, you will get your full allotted time.
Clock Rules: One missed clock is forgiven. No penalty. Two missed clocks equal a 4 hour clock. Three missed clocks equal auto skip.

EDIT: We can forget the market stuff. I'll listen to any nominations of polls you'd like.
