Although I'm still running it on OO, I'm going to start a "second-chance" Tag Team Tournament (OF DOOM) here as well... and if you wanna join, feel free.
**
've been given the blessing of Chris is Good and a promise of help (if I need it) from AA to run a Tag Tourney in TNM 7 (and if you've got no idea what it is, read the "Fun with TNM 7" tread).
With that having been said, here are the rules:
1. Each player chooses six tag teams. They can be established tag teams or "dream teams" of two wrestlers. I will U2U you if one or more of the wrestlers that you picked isn't available.
2. You can't have the same wrestler appear in your selections more than one time.
3. The same wrestler can't be picked by more than two people overall.
4. Pinfall or submission wins will be worth five points, wins by DQ or countout will be worth two. Double countouts are with one point for each team... same as last time.
5. Once the signup period is over (I'm thinking that it'll end ten days after this post), I'll randomly (by the aid of a co-worker and a hat) divide the teams into even groups... it all depends on how many people we have, really. Once the sign-ups are over, I'll do some math and figure out how many teams to have in the finals, how many wild cards, that kind of thing. If there's a tie for wild card spots, there will be a runoff match (or matches) between those teams for the spots in the finals.
6. The finals, like last time, are going to be a single-elimination format. The championship match will be a two-out-of-three falls match.
7. I'm going to bar participation of managers/thirds/et cetera from matches. I will also turn off injuries, since an injury to one member of a team will take two people out. However, there will still be outside interference allowed in matches.
8. I'm still trying to think of some kind of prize or reward for the winner. If I can think of anything, I'll let it be known.
Post your picks, and we'll try to get this off the ground. If you have any questions, U2U me, and I'll try to answer them to the best of my ability... I'm still learning the software.
Again, if you've already selected teams on OO, this is going to be seperate... so you can have another set of six. We're the chosen ones here.
