Carlito3 might be the best team drafted. That talent is outstanding.

Great talent, but I don't see any wingers that play defense, and few that would go into a corner.

The Red Death line has 3 guys who worked together with Kharlamov, Larionov and Fetisov so there's definite chemistry there. Bure is a speedster sniper who will be an offense juggernaut working with these guys and Konstantinov was on pace to be a really great defensemen for the Wings before the tragic car accident. As long as Eruzione isn't on the ice, Tretiak will be a stonewall.

Ray Bourque gets an automatic vote from me in the first round. He's the reason I played D and besides maybe Orr, he's the best defenseman this gave has ever seen. He was all around good. Great shot, physical, played his position to an art, clean player, loyal, he could do it all!

This is one of two polls I waited to vote on, as I went back and forth on it. And it really was close for both votes.

At the end of the day, what matters is Pure Skill vs Red Death, and it comes down to chemistry and matchups. Red Death probably has more built-in chemistry than any other lineup in the showdown... and Pure Skill might have negative chemistry. Furthermore, I'd be confident of an all Russian lineup matching up with their fellow Russian wingers Ovechkin and Mogilny. I will say that Brad Park is a very underrated player, and I had him high on my draft board, but he's not enough. Red Death gets the vote to extend their lead.
