ONE pick into the draft and already our first FUCK YOU! That's gotta be a record. Moving on, this is another that can fill multiple slots. Leaning toward putting it as my Blockbuster depending on if my other pick slips back to me.
2. The Empire Strikes Back- June 20, 1980 (Blockbuster, for now)

Fast Times & Bull Durham were on the short list. That's the only drawback to getting #1, all sorts of good stuff goes before I get my #2 in. And Field of Dreams is so overrated I almost can't stand it. Not a bad film, but nowhere near as good as they hype it gets.
Ok, Glad these fell to me here.
16. Goonies (1985) - Family
And My favorite baseball movie, just barely beating out Bull Durham
"Listen and Understand, The Terminator is out there! It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity or remorse or fear. And it will absolutely not stop....ever... until you are dead."
And Field of Dreams is so overrated I almost can't stand it. Not a bad film, but nowhere near as good as they hype it gets.
Quoted for motherfucking truth. Very good flick, Liotta and James Earl Jones are awesome in it, but anyone who calls this the best baseball film of all time is out of their goddamn minds.
