NFC WC: Saints over Seahawks, Falcons over Rams NFC Div: Saints over Eagles, Vikings over Falcons NFC Champ: Saints over Vikings
Super Bowl: Chiefs over Saints
MVP: Carson Wentz OPOY: Patrick Mahomes DPOY: Khalil Mack OROY: Not Daniel Jones; will be Kyler Murray DROY: Quennin Williams (Jets) Coach Fired: I actually think they all make it through the season, but Tomlin gets fired by Pittsburgh is the big shocker.
So let's see... - We've got an NBA player (Jimmy Butler) who has no interest in playing with the Timberwolves after one season and who may or may not have slept with the star player (Karl-Anthony Towns); - The coach of said NBA team (Tom Thibodeau) is also in charge of player personnel decisions and has said he has no interest in trading Butler and has directed his assistant general manager to say so; but the owner does and is directing the AGM to make deals; - Thibodeau has said he'd rather quit than trade Butler; - Our NFL team, the Vikings, shit the bed on Sunday losing to an 0-2 team that was a 16½ point underdog, the largest week 3 or earlier spread in almost 10 years; - The captain of the defense of the team (Everson Griffen) apparently has been slowly losing his mind over the past week and on Thursday was directed by the team to get a mental health evaluation, which he didn't; - Griffen then, when told on Saturday that he wouldn't be playing Sunday, went to the hotel he was staying at and demanded to be let into his room or he'd shoot someone while pacing back and forth and even laying down on the lobby floor; - Griffen is now hospitalized getting help (thankfully) as the team flies to LA to face the Rams on a short week in complete disarray; - The Division I college team lost in ugly fashion to a Maryland team that was just blown out by Temple of all schools, plus their star defensive/special teams player is now out for the season.
Just waiting for the Wild to say they're moving to Canada...
