It's funny that that was the last Coen movie I saw and I forgot about it. It was okay. I liked it. I think if there were more westerns made these days I don't think it would have been held in such high regard.
But I'd lump that in as a good one, although that was a remake of a movie based on a book and No Country was based on a book. I'm sure others were, too, but whatever.
“This is the sound a doggy makes.” “Moo.” “No.” “Well, that's the sound your mother made last night.” “No! Good Lord, we would have accepted bow-wow or ruff.” “Ah, rough. Just the way your mother likes it, Trebek”
Dogma was meh, J&SB Strike Back was just plain bad. But Clerks II was actually really good. I thought it held itself up to the original very well. And who knew Jeff Anderson actually had some acting chops?
"Saturday, Donny, is Shabbos, the Jewish day of rest. That means that I don't work, I don't drive a car, I don't fucking ride in a car, I don't handle money, I don't turn on the oven, and I sure as shit don't fucking roll!"
