Waffled a lot on some of these. There's going to be a TON of fantastic competitors left by the wayside by the time I'm done but very probably one of my favorite all time WWF title matches...
36 Shawn Michaels (c) (with José Lothario) vs Mankind (with Paul Bearer) Singles match for the WWF Championship In Your House 10: Mind Games September 22, 1996
And the match that made me start paying attention to TNA
37 America's Most Wanted (Chris Harris and James Storm) vs Triple X (Christopher Daniels and Elix Skipper) Six Sides of Steel match Turning Point (2004) December 5, 2004
Wanna make sure I get a top-tier women's match in, so with some of the recent picks, let me go with this one here. Watched it live and thought it was pretty fantastic.
41. Becky Lynch (C) vs. Bianca Belair - WWE Raw Women's Championship - WWE WrestleMania 38 Night 1
37 America's Most Wanted (Chris Harris and James Storm) vs Triple X (Christopher Daniels and Elix Skipper) Six Sides of Steel match Turning Point (2004) December 5, 2004
After the amazing Flair/Steamboat trilogy of 89, Flair continued maybe the greatest single year of matches with a completely different type of feud. This will also take care of my 80s requirement.
44. Ric Flair vs Terry Funk - NWA Championship I Quit - Clash of the Champions IX
I'm sensing a trend where I tend to like the match in a series that isn't always considered the best of the series. But once again I'm always partial to this one over the one already drafted.
46. Bayley vs Sasha Banks - Ironman Match - NXT Takeover: Respect 2015
Sasha at her absolute heel peak makes a child cry. The end game with the dueling crossfaces and finger stomps . The drama of this match was incredible.
My Brain: Now remember, you do have to pick matches from the 2000's and 2010's at some point.
Me: Got it.
My brain: I'm serious, you agreed to the rule. You even posted support for it in the signup thread.
Me: I know.
My Brain: So we're good?
Me: 100 %
My Brain: Good.
Me: But... what if I did this for my next two picks?
My Brain: Fuck it, I tried.
47. The Enforcers (Arn Anderson and Larry Zbyszko) (C) vs Dustin Rhodes and a mystery partner (Ricky MOTHERFUCKING Steamboat)- WCW World Tag Team Championship Match- Clash of the Champions 17 (November 19, 1991)
This will take a few names off my board but it is worth it. I thought about taking the more recent versions of the match, but I already have two very good NXT matches and this will slot in as my 90s requirement.
53. Sting, Nikita Koloff, Dustin Rhodes, Barry Windham, & Ricky Steamboat vs. Rick Rude, Steve Austin, Arn Anderson, Bobby Eaton, & Larry Zbyszko - WarGames - WrestleWar 92
