Lucky got shit on a lot during the draft but damn if that isn't a watchable network. He and bd get my vote.

Lucky's network has some shows I love and some shows that I wished I watch. I should add that I've asked for the Wire complete series for Xmas because I have that much faith in a show I've seen 3 eps of. Spawn is one show that makes me kind of regret going the comedy route.

The other two both have shows I love: Angle's got Married and 30 Rock (despite not knowing anything about it). I love both of those more than the shows BD has--Beavis, Futurama, Tales, Lucky Louie.

That's a tough one. In the end, slight edge to BD, because his schedule makes more sense.

Sorry, angle. I love Titus but there's not another show on that schedule I'll miss. In fact there's only a few I've ever seen. I DESPISE King of the Jill, Cold Case, and anime. Meanwhile bd's got a solid Monday night of drama, a couple of real nice comedies Tuesday, and that horror night. But really, considering how many times we cursed at each during the draft you have to figure we'll vote for each other.

I agree with you on the anime part. I really didn't wanna do that, but I ran out of violent animated shows.

I'm actually voting for ya angle. I think the schedule has some holes but just on a head to head basis, you compete enough with Lucky and I would actually watch your shows over bd's a lot of the time. Even when bd goes to a genre I live, they are shows I've never wanted or had a chance to watch and with yours I know I'd like to give Life on Mars and Numb3rs a look. I've also heard great things about Breaking Bad so that's another one I might look at.

I think a lot of people went with this 3 hour of comedy block and that's something that really doesn't interest me. But these 3 networks in my opinion all have pluses and minuses. Lucky and Angle's outweigh bd's by a slight margin.

As long as I've been watching TV it's always been 2 hours of comedy than the drama to finish the night after the kids went to bed. As the 80's and 90's progressed drama started seeping into the 9pm hour and once the late 90's and early 00's came around and reality found it's sticking point, I can't remember the last 10pm comedy hour.

That was a force that really isn't the norm. NBC found it really hard to keep that going past their heydays and ER lost a lot of viewers if I remember correctly.

And I'm not saying its a definite. It's just a natural scheduling move. But its hard to prove that as a "3 hour" block since the 10 PM slot only became a standard fairly recently and sitcoms have taken a hard nose dive around the same time.

Uh, Seinfeld was huge after it caught on. Check out the ratings section: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seinfeld#Ratings_history (that's for when you go vote for me because I have the show).

And I have to agree with DevSop. I can't remember the last time a "comedy" was on at 10pm on a network, and even with my all comedy lineup I didn't put have an "all sitcom" night, which does seem like overkill. People seemed to push "all-funny" or "all-cartoon" or "all family" nights that haven't existed in the modern era.

Still like Lucky's lineup, anyway.

In fairness I wasn't really thinking "all sitcom". I avoided that myself. My 1 comedy night has an hour of sitcom, followed my an hour of sketch, followed by an hour of Pryor. I considered it a gradual growth into more mature humor. And my Friday night becomes less family as the night goes on as it never really made sense to me to theme a 10 o'clock hour as family time.

EDIT: The biggest screwy part of my lineup, I think, is Justice League at 10. Which means at best the kids are begging mom and dad to let them stay up an extra half hour. But mostly I think putting it at 10 and with Spawn meant that I'm going for the mature fans more than the kids. They buy the DVDs anyway. But in theory I guess that's kind of a "family night" until Spawn. It was another night I tried to make grow in maturity as it went on.

I wasn't talking so much about you. Comedy at 10pm works. I just don't think 6 straight sitcoms or animated programs do, which are showing up here.
