Leo:
So voting each matchup is mandatory? What if you absolutely don’t like any of the cards? I don’t want to give $200 to anyone (paused for the inevitable copying and pasting) to those who didn’t earn it.

"and 29 Fingers, what the fuck is that shit? Who wrote a song about your anal world record set at the Stuckeys just outside of San Diego?" - Moose
"But yeah, I'd rather stick my dick in a dead guys asshole then watch Anchorman again." - Creeps

No, there are no matchups. It's not head to head. You have $200 to spend on all 13 cards that aren't your own. If you don't like a card, give it $0. If you don't like any of the cards, give me the max $40 and divide the rest up equally amongst the others.
Yes, you're voting on all 13 cards per round, not just considering head to head match-ups. The only head to head will be the finals. With that being the case, I think it would be very hard for you to hate all the cards so much you don't want to give anyone any money. It's kind of all relative to each other based on your opinion. We did this at the OO board for an auction draft we did and it worked out well.
What I like about this is that often people feel like they're out of the running after the first round and interest drops off. With this format you're locked into more cards to tell your stories and can be in the running longer. Had a bad round? You can make it up dollar wise the next round with a killer card.
Often times in head to head match-ups we have people say they love both cards and hate to choose just one, or they don't like either and feel like they're choosing the least sucky. This eliminates that too. All the cream should theoretically rise to the top.
“*All sent cards are just a list of matches. Don’t put any winners, losers, storyline advancement, etc. That’s what your individual fed threads are for.”
Hoping for a generous distinction of “non-match events” and “storyline advancement.” Otherwise my card is going to read pretty close to “Braun Strowman v. Bob Backlund, The End” :-D

To be more specific, you can list your segments. But you shouldn’t give like a 10 page script. Bullet points. Full write up for your thread.
Mayhem drafted "No DQ/Hardcore/Extreme Rules" but I'm not sure if this covers a hardcore match or a street fight match. Hardcore would be no DQ and falls count anywhere, while street fight would be no DQ but falls must take place in the ring. "No DQ" sounds like it would be the latter, but "Hardcore" sounds like the former. And I can't remember which structure "Extreme Rules" went by.
They're definitely different gimmicks, and only one of the two was taken with this pick, so I'm just asking for clarification on which one is available to the rest of us.

I can answer that question because I asked Dash the same thing in the predraft to see if I could snag a stip - his response was:

Street Fight would fall within that umbrella, but usually in those matches the fall has to take place in the ring.
What makes Falls Count Anywhere different is the fact that you can win it anywhere. Ringside, the crowd, the bathroom, up against a wall (which happened once back in the early 90s in Tri-State Wrestling, a Philly/NJ precursor to ECW)."
With me drafting Falls Count Anywhere after that - I think that pretty much leaves item specific matches like Chairs and Stairs and whatnot if you want to court the hardcore end of the spectrum but I'm sure others with more authority than myself could better clarify on that end.

The "but" throws me off a bit. The difference is being acknowledged, but is this saying that street fight is similar to hardcore but not the same and therefor free to use, or is this saying that they're different but being grouped together regardless? Falls Count Anywhere is a whole different thing—just that the match can end anywhere, but nothing about all holds or weapons being legal.
I'd think hardcore and street fight are different enough to warrant being labeled a separate gimmick. Especially if TLC, ladder, and MITB are being separated. Really, if the difference between hardcore and street fight doesn't separate them, then Falls Count Anywhere shouldn't count as separate from a standard match. In both cases, the difference is where falls are legal to take place.

They all fall under the same umbrella, except Falls Count Anywhere. They're all different names for No DQ. Falls Count Anywhere is specific in the fact that the pinfall can take place outside the ring.

Much obliged - we’ll see how that went.
Also given the no add drop between rounds, I’m going to need to run a lot of flashbacks going forward given the number of people that get murdered in Episode One.
