A production by Mike Schur in association with Sorkin Productions
Coach Eric Taylor is no longer just a football coach but he's the athletic director of a small but successful college program across a variety of sports. Eric's wife, Lorelai Gilmore runs a local hotel/restaurant that caters to the athletes of the college and their friends and families. Their family consists of a hodgepodge of character quirks and personalities; the sarcastic and dark gothic daughter, April Ludgate; the genius hacker son, Chuck Bartowski; and the all-American prodigal daughter, Kara Danvers.
What Eric doesn't have in his family is the athlete that he always wanted. But that's okay because his kids significant others somehow take care of that. Kara finds herself with hockey megastar, Pacey Witter. Chuck is with the world-class wrestler Ruth Wilder. And April winds up with the two-sport star of the school, Will Smith.
Rounding out the cast are friends/co-workers of Lorelai Gilmore; Rosa Diaz who works security and takes no nonsense from anyone who gets out of line; Veronica Mars who works as a local PI that handles the quirks of the weird college; and Britta Perry who clashes wildly with April and Ruth but still find themselves as a tight-knit group.
I don't know....they're all tremendous actors and actresses who would work brilliantly together. Make the ages work in a way that make sense too. I'm not winning anyway.
