Remember when drafts went fast? Those were the days. I’m thankful for the opportunity to be a part of this one.
Remember when draft threads would have like 100 pages of posts and conversations? Checking back, the first two drafts were actually over 200 pages! Those, also, were the days.

Dude, I love it, let's do some commentary.
I'm glad Kane went at 31, and he goes way too late all the time! I wonder if he would go higher if he retired young, so that our only memories of the guy is the super explosive, top rope leaping monster, instead of a guy who managed his style for longevity as time went on.
He's also the perfect example of championships aren't everything - in terms of the later half of his career, I'd trade the ECW Championship /and/ Smackdown World Heavyweight Championship runs to keep Team Hell No. I know Daniel Bryan made himself, but if anyone has an argument for really elevating Bryan to being a MEGAstar, Kane is right in that conversation.
Oh thank you. I didn't want to take him but I wasn't going to be able to pass up the value if he had dropped to my pick.
Seconded! I love the guy - probably my personal GOAT* - but the problem is that he's wrestled everyone - even if he hasn't wrestled everyone at his peak (see above comment on Kane dropping because people think of his later work).
*My Rushmore is probably Jericho, Bryan, Angle, and my fourth varies by day: Rock, Punk, and Michaels are all in there.

If we're just using in-ring wrestling peaks...I have a similar 4. Angle is my clear #1 because he was able to wrestle any style, face or heel, and didn't have some of the wrestling backstage politics stuff that drops HBK to 2 or 3 for me. Jerico, Bryan, Punk, Eddie, and Austin are probably the others in the discussion for me. I know Stone Cold got really stale, but from Stunning Steve to ECW Steve to early Stone Cold before the neck/knee issues, he was as good as any of the others in the ring and could clearly own a crowd. Rock drops because it's just such a short time frame, I don't think he evolved much in-ring workrate wise, and I'm not sure there was a massive difference between his heel and face personas. The rest all had some form of re-invention as they changed roles.
I think it's super interesting that we come out similar, Dev, since I suspect based on our descriptions that you value the in-ring work more - I think Angle, Jericho, and Bryan are just fantastic promos (Bryan took the most time), and all really really funny to boot. Austin and Eddie are absolutely worthy additions; I loved what I got of Eddie but joined wrestling a little late to see some of his best stuff as it was happening (WWF bought WCW when I was 10). But he's right up there for me - I was so sad when he died.

I’m a huge Jericho fan. But I’m on the same page that I’m looking for fresh matchups. The other plans I had for drafting four people, Jericho would have been a great fit, but he had already fought 2 of the other guys. That’s why losing Piper ruined it for me. Piper-Jericho we haven’t seen. Again… Solly’s fault that Jericho slipped this far.
The absolute disrespect to Wrestlemania 25! (I'm kidding.)
You got me. I was thinking that we’ve seen Jericho-Steamboat, but not Piper. Still, a 1985 Piper vs a 2001 Jericho is a heck of a lot different from WM25. And while Steamboat lost half a step, he was amazing at that feud. In their prime they would have been better, but I think we have been blessed with a decent Jericho-Steamboat match.
