That line of arguement works for me. Between the two, the one that pissed me off more for it's cancellation was AD. The creator walking out on it is one thing, but getting fucked by its own network is another.

Not to be an ass, but I've only seen AD a few times, and half of those quotes don't mean anything without context. Who's Ann, and why is someone mistaking her name as Egg? Why is someone switching the word's Plain and Ann up funny. What does "never promise crazy a baby" even mean?

Ann is George Michael's girlfriend, who happens to be very plain. Never promise crazy a baby is in reference to Kitty, George Sr's secretary and mistress, who happens to be crazy.

I just went through and picked some random favorites, it would take too long to do a plot synopsis for all of them. It would have been better if youtube had some clips, but alas.

I think we are getting a little burned on this. Let me save you the trouble of running a whole showdown

- a current show will knock off a classic show because no one watches anything more than 5 years old.

- I will bemoan the fact that Undeserving Current Show knocked off Classic Genre Defining Show

- Sop will be pissed because a show he likes lost to one he feels is inferior and call someone cwi

- X number of you are clearly idiots

- a show that shouldn't advance, yet does, will somehow gain support and make it much further than it should because everyone loves an underdog

- a show that is popular will advance over a cult favorite, then get decimated in the next round by an inferior show because of spite votes

- someone will say "after X show went out, I realized this whole thing was a joke and I stopped voting"

- Someone will trade votes to advance a show only they like

Sounds about right. But I think this showdown has had a bounce back in number of votes and some debate. If we want to stop for a bit after the next one then maybe we should. I do think that getting away from TV & Movies might help.
