I know it seems like I'm slapping a sleeping grizzly here, but I swear that I'm not. I just say that things from our childhood resonate more with some of us. I remember movies from my childhood more fondly than movies from my early 20's. Mostly.

Also our generation was weird because by the time we knew it was all staged, kayfaybe broke anyway. We didn't know the secret from the getgo, but we weren't defending it's validity into our 20's, either.

And WCCW was regional to us, but we didn't know, we just knew it was Dallas Wrestling that we could watch. It was on, so we watched, just like we watched the NWA/WCW and the WWF. Never watched the AWA (until 20 minutes from now via DVR) and I expect it to suck. But I bet whoever watched it "live" 20 years ago enjoyed it alot more then and might give it more leeway now. Things evolve.
