I blame my laco of Flair love on growing up a WWF fan and not watching any NWA. Rewatching those storylines on Flair's DVD isn't the same.

I do live a sheltered life, but I'm also a moron.

Flair does not entertain me. He has not entertained me for the past 25 years. I liked Eddie just before he died. For a short time, he did entertain me.

Based on that, my vote went to Eddie. Personally, I don't think Eddie should've gotten this far in the tournament, but he did, and he's up against a guy who does nothing for me, so meh.

Same here. I know how illustrious the guy's career is, and even present-day Flair entertains me to a degree, but I didn't really ever see anything of Flair's that wowed me, unlike Eddie.

It's not that Flair wasn't awesome. Awesomely awesome. It's that so was Eddie!

Look at the picture you posted. (Awesome picture by the way.) There he is in a suit with the collar popped up, wearing a wife-beater under the jacket with a gigantic crucifix around his neck, in his cowboy boots, with his frosted hair. Pretend you never saw that picture of Eddie and picture some guy fitting the description above. You'd kick that guys ass just on general principles, right?

Eddie is that guy who dresses like an absolute dickhead but doesn't know it because, who would tell him? Not I, said the chicken.

And there he is with Rey's bloody mask in his hand, glaring at it and glaring at the crowd. I love Samoa Joe, but his entire career is predicated on attempting to replicate that glare. The crowd waits and waits for him to cut a vicious promo on Mysterio, but Eddie just keeps glaring. Then he drops the mask and crushes it under the heel of his boot like a spent cigarette. (To steal a phrase.)

I don't care who super-smites me or temp bans me for saying this. Foley and Flair are my two favorite promo guys, but that wordless segment tops every one of their promos.

I probably could've stolen a couple of votes for Flair had I posted a different picture of Eddie, but I hadn't come across this one before and wanted to use it because I didn't think Eddie would advance here. If I recall correctly, this was from my favorite Eddie promo of all time.

Bottom line, however, is that Flair had probably 500 promos better than that one, well, at least that entertained me more.

I can respect Eddie to death (ha HA!) but he's against the mutha fuckin' MAN! Flair is gold and if he was up against Jesus he'd win against JC as well.

Flair is always what i consider the best blend of pro-wrestler.

Great promos, crazy when needed, can wrestle as well as brawl and tell a story in the ring through psychology, and makes me stop what I'm doing to watch, allways.

I'll allways be a Flair mark, period. I love and respect Eddie's work, but damn. Wooo!

I love Eddie, but c'mon, this is the Nature Boy. I know that his recent years have tarnished his reputation for some people, but this a guy who was one of the absolute best in the world for the better part of 30 years.

These pictures are all from Lake Street, where there is a thriving Mexican enclave, which is just 15 blocks from me. I see Mexicans on a regular basis. They don't dress like Eddie, but I do see them.

I have to say that my ban on mexican food outside of border states has been laxed. I don't expect authenticity like my glorious King Taco and Alberto's, but a quesadilla is just melted cheese in a tortilla. If I can make one, so can a Mexican who lives in Minnesota.

Plus I've recently been eating burritos from a very unauthentic but a very delcious taco stand by my house. They use healthy shit like white beans, organic rice, soy chorizo, and that shit. But's delish.

I also softened my indignation towards seafood in states that don't border the coasts. Now, I don't expect them to be on the level of Washington and California, but I don't expect them to be bad anymore.

My snobbery has subsided. So next time I'm in Minneapolis visiting family, I'm going to have Mr. Sergei here take me out to have tacos. Are you down with that?
