Just get rid of ECW, let TNA make WCE-Man or something to mock the failure that was the new ECW for a few weeks, have a blow off "Extreme Rules" match, let McMahon make a two-dvd set to milk the last money out of the ECW name, and lets just go back to 2 shows and forget this abortion ever happened. There's been some good, but at this point, whatever good ECW can do would be much better as depth to the two much bigger existing programs on Monday and Friday. They'll never be enough of a commitment to ECW for it to ever matter outside of the main event slot and I think we all know this has gone on too long.
I'm kinda sick of trying to care about ECW. There's people there that I like, but at this point, it almost does as much for me as Heat does, only with a second tier title to defend each week. Dreamer/Delaney should never be a main event on any show.
Well, we didn't really see him DO much of anything except get thrown around like a rag doll until Tuesday night. A few hope spots here and there, but nothing really major. I'm fairly certain this was his first 'match' in the true sense of the word, and he had nothing.
Well, he's wrestled for CHIKARA amongst other places for a few years, so it's hardly his first match.
That said, I never went back and watched any of of Indy work like Lucky, so I'm surprised he sucks as bad some of you make it seem. After all, he seemed to have "Indy Cred".
Oh well, he'd best pick up some weights and a needle and adopt a Full Nelson as his finisher if he wants to last.
I don't think he had indy cred like "He's good, I'm glad he's in WWE." It was "I never thought HE'd be in WWE! Wow! GO COLIN!" CHIKARA fans a cultish and Colin is WAY down on the indy ladder. I think people just thought it was cool that an extreme underdog "made it." Which helped feed the internet fan's side of this underdog story, but the reason they thought he was underdog in the first place kind of means he's never gonna be much. Fire's Zach Gowan comparison is in no way unreasonable. Gowan might have been a cool story for a moment because he was such an insane underdog, but the reality is that he wasn't going to overcome the natural limitations that made him that underdog.
I probably exaggerate to call him a worthless sack of suck. He's a competent enough wrestler from what I've seen for a low grade indy tag team guy. But he's about as pedestrian as I can imagine a wrestler being. I've never seen him show some acumen for flippy shit and he doesn't seem to have any kind of real mat skill. One day, if he really gets a break, he can be Duane Gill. He's some silly fodder who works in a small indy because he looks pathetic and small crowds attach to him but he was never gonna be ROH Champ or bunny's idol.
I just hate him because I just am so insanely bored by this story and I hate that on a brand that has so many talented guys doing nothing and a company that has so many talented guys doing nothing that THIS guy got a story and regular TV time and a reason for fans to care about him.
Or don't do either. If you can't find an image you like at either than don't force it. Just give me something you like and which will look good on the board.
