Worthwhile as in doing the job they're paying for.
Hey, I think he sucked and I think WWE was stupid to put him out there with no experience. But its WWE's MO. They toss Diva Search girls in TV to learn on the job. They toss green wrestlers in the ring to learn on the job. They toss wrestlers like JBL, Randy Orton, and Bobby Lashley into the main event before they're ready or have really established themselves and let them learn on the job. This is WWE's MO. It results in inferior products where we're waiting for MVP to really get interesting even as he holds the US title, we wait for John Morrisson to get interesting even as he holds the ECW title, and we wait for Candice to become a comfortable wrestler even as she holds the Women's Title. Now we're gonna wait for Adamle to get comfortable as he is the ECW announcer.
And people will keep watching and WWE will keep doing this. Because on the job training means saving money and effort and isn't adversely affecting their bottomline.
Me? I basically have learned to tune out the announcers anyway. And while I think people are completely over the top with their criticisms of Adamle as I'm not even sure he was the worst announcer on TV this week, he was bad. But I only know that because I rewatched it with the volume up and I doubt I'll notice him next week.
Or don't do either. If you can't find an image you like at either than don't force it. Just give me something you like and which will look good on the board.
