I have no idea what Super Mario Galaxy is, and I'd probably hate it, but I'd vote for anything against the sims.

I hate that game.

I have trash to pick up off the floor of my house in real life, thanks but no thanks.

Sims was amusing for like 1 day when you realized that people could die and stuff. Then I turned it off and never turned it back on again. I really think I played Sims for 1 weekend of my life and never again, despite my college roommate installing it on my computer.

Galaxy was just awesome old school Mario fun with the new technology and I loved it.

I hated The Sims. One of my fraternity brothers did successfully make his two female Sims become lesbians, though.

Super Mario Galaxy is such a good game. It's right up there with SMB3, World, and 64.

I actually did like the Sims. I played it off and on for about a year or so. But Galaxy is just a fantastic game and still gets my vote easily.

Unlike you guys, I loved the Sims. I played that shit for hours upon hours and even bought the second one the day it came out.

That said, Galaxy is awesome... it's the first game for the Wii I acutally played through and beat. So Mario's got my vote here.

Indeed and it's not close. I'm actually playing Sim City 4 right now. Well, not RIGHT this minute, but I'm in the process of building the Metropolis of Rockdale, Rocky Shores, Hill Valley, and Parts Unknown on the machine at the house.

I'm just curious as to as to why you hate the game. I haven't played it yet but I plan on picking it up as soon as I get around to buying a Wii, because I've heard nothing but praise for it.

The game LOOKS fantastic, i just REALLY hate the wii controllers, with those controllers it just really killed the game play for me.

And on the flip side, I thought the controllers enhanced the game play. It's why I absolutely LOVE Galaxy after hating Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario 64. It's a game that if you are only a part time gamer, can pick up and play and you'll still have a ton to do after a year of owning it. Recommended and voted for over Sims.

What is your major malfunction? Anyone and everyone can use the Wii controllers. You ever read those articles about nursing homes getting into gaming? It's because of the Wii. If they can figure it out, why can't you?

I'm gonna agree on the control issue. Not that it's hard to use, but there's a lot of shit in there they put in JUST so they could say, "well, we made use of the Wiimote!" When you have to wiggle the Wiimote to launch yourself in those star things, or wiggle it in order to make Mario punch... there's no point in that. None. Could have just pushed a button and had the exact same effect.
