season 2 is the first 10 or 11 episodes of season 2. season 2.5 is the second 10 or 11 episodes of season 2. they just split season 2 into two releases. you need both to watch the full season.

Wouldn't surprise me. Universal liked Firefly and that (Serenity) was for essentially a half-season show.

That would be bad ass. I wonder if they'd continue the storyline, or do a alternate story ala Razor.

If you read the link, you'd see they're planning on the film to be based more on the ORIGINAL version of BSG. The space-opera, laser gun battles, Star Wars rip-off version.

I finally finished watching the entire series. Wow. That was awesome. Easily in the top 5 of favorite shows of all time now.

Favorite character - damn, that's really hard. Bill Adama is up there, as is Roslin. I warmed up to Lee as the series continued. Starbuck, of course. Baltar, for sure. My favorite Cylon was Deanna. Can't pick just one favorite.

Top 5 moments?

5. Lee Adama's speech during Baltar's trial.
4. Discovery of our Earth (when the African continent is visible)
3. Baltar shoots the LT on Kobol to save Callie's life.
2. The four are revealed.
1. 150,000 years later...

Up there is:
"Earth" is a wasteland.
Tigh kills Ellen.
Starbuck flies the blackbird into the resurrection hub.
Adama and Roslin finally say they love each other.
Ellen is revealed as the 5th.

I agree with almost everything on the list except for Ellen. I just didn't like her as the 5th. I still wish it was the chick from Razor. Not the admiral, but her lover.

Oh, I never liked the Ellen character either - I wish it was Starbuck, even if people would've said "that'd be so obvious." But her being the 5th was still a big moment.

my favorite moment of the show was the rescue from new caprica. the galactica jumping into the atmosphere. the pegasus taking out 2 basestars simultaneously. just fucking awesome.
