I hate to be "that guy" but I don't know man, if you're an actor in Hollywood and very nearly won the Best Actor statue, I think you're within your right to ask for more than a half a million bucks to be in a movie that will probably generate that much money during the first screening of the movie. If it's a bit part, yeah, he should suck it up and be a part of the film. If he has signifcant screen time, then yeah, he deserves more. I'm not saying he should get Jim Carey/Tom Cruise/Will Smith money, but a least 1.5 mil isn't too out of the question for a movie that unless it completely sucks will gross 300 times that amount.
