You're going to have to go back and explain your first post, Moose. Because Angst and I had an exchange about the wrong things with religion. And when I said there was nothing wrong with the lame shirts you said the message was. But now you're saying you don't care about the message so I have no idea what your point was the first time.
I guess I should be more clear. If that is what you believe, fine. Wearing it on a t-shirt is just stupid to me.
I just find it hard to buy that if I posted a link about some douchebag covered in tats and piercings and mocked him for being a self important douchebag who should be beaten to death that Byrne might not rightfully call me on being a fucking asshole with a ridiculously narrow minded opinion.
Who is saying anyone should be beaten to death? They are t-shirts with silly religious belief quotes on them. I think they are stupid - the t-shirts AND the beliefs, but thats me. You have every right to believe that, and if you want, wear the silly t-shirt advertising it. It just makes you kind of a douche to me
We've oddly enough had this "craving attention" debate 3 times in the last week about completely different subjects and I still can't figure how you determine when someone's actions are cries for attention and when they're not. Because you got incredulous when other people labeled someone an attention seeker at the start of the week but you called someone else one last night in chat.
because it is a different situation and I don't have a blanket criteria for what I think IS and IS NOT an attention seeking whore?
So sure, I guess I'll agree with you that these people are self important little idiots craving attention. Then again why is the slogan on THEIR t-shirt worse than the slogan on damn near every t-shirt? That's all I ever said so if you agree with me I have no idea why you seemed to disagree with me up there.
And I said these are just as dumb as Rock Star or Rebel t-shirts
Certainly you can understand how I read "the messages you are selling on the t-shirts? yes " as you... I don't know... having a problem with the message on the t-shirt? And considering these are just personal Christian messages meant to counter a host of other stupid messages on t-shirts I don't get why THESE are so hilarious unless its because those crazy religious are so silly.
Ok, because I DO believe these beliefs are silly, but its your right to have them, and wear the silly shirts advertising the silly beliefs.
