Maybe it's just me, but I'm a little confused with where the WWE is going with the Jericho/Legends storyline. What purpose does it serve, other than to make Jericho an ultra-heel? I don't read spoilers, so maybe this has been addressed, but unless it is Stone Cold, is there any other legend out there that anyone could be convinced could actually beat Jericho? I suppose you could say Lawler, since he is still in pretty good shape, but even that's a long shot. Hogan maybe?

I guess I just don't see the payoff in the story. If Jericho beats some old, broken down, retired guy, so what? If the retired guy beats him (unless it's one of the aforementioned scenarios), then Jericho looks weak. It just seems like a no-win situation to me.

I always try not to see the logic in what the E does, it will just make your head hurt. King would be a shitty payoff, so, since WM is in Texas and all, Austin makes the most sense it would seem.

I don't know if it would actually be a match, or just Austin coming out and parading his schtick (thus kind of proving Jericho's point, as lame and retarded as it all is) but no matter how they do it, my money is on it sucking really bad.

I caught Lawler's "reaction" to the Snuka bit last night. Looks like by next week, he'll have had enough, which should be good for two weeks of Lawler/Jericho matches (by "good" I mean "not good in any way, shape, or form"). After that, I don't know who they can feed to Jericho, but I'd imagine the WM match will be set soon enough so that whoever the opponent is gets a few weeks of unnecessary interview segments to set it up.

we all know the Philly AI is the best in the sport, duh.

And Hogan would suck, Austin would suck, the Rock would suck, all because they would HAVE to go over Jericho for it to make sense, and there is no reason for Jericho to job to them at this point.

The only way this could even come out as not sucking too bad is if one of the legacy kids finally stepped up for their dad at WM and beat Jericho. And even then, I am not so sure Dibiase or Rhodes really fit the bill. They dropped the ball with Sim, so I have no idea who is left.

I am really surprised they haven't trotted out Dusty and had Golddust make the save leading to a Jericho Goldie feud, which while still ridiculous, could be slightly entertaining

I was actually surprised that Sim Snuka didn't run out and stop the beatdown for the moment on his dad. Only for Jericho to beat Sim in a match next Monday. Your thoughts on having The Dream and be Jericho's next victim and then to have Goldust start a small program with Jericho. I would be all for that. Gotta use Goldust sometime. Only, there's not enough time with Wrestlemania looming in the background. The Legacy kids coming out to save face for their fathers isn't going to happen for a while, maybe even never as they are starting to get that douche bag aura from Orton rubbed onto them.

The only other kids I can think of would be Joe Hennig and the other Dibiase, along with Mike Rotunda's two boys and a couple of other 2nd gen offspring, but they are all far from the big leagues. No way would they put them on the big show ppv as their first matches. Jericho's in limbo. He killing with his promo work and a general badass, but who to put him with. On the topic of El Rock, there's no way he'll come back. I think he's gone on record as saying that he'll pretty much never step back in the ring. Plus he's slimmed down so much since his in ring days. If Mick Foley was still with the fed, I would have said he would be the one.

Or ONE face in the company actually taking offense to Jericho insulting and attacking old legends weekly and picking a fair fight with him. But of course, this is WWE where faces are asshole pieces of shit and no one cares if a woman or old man is being beat up unless it suits storyline purposes.

Its boring and I don't give a shit where its going. I can't imagine any way WWE, Jericho, Austin, Rock, Hogan, Ric Flair, Mickey Rourke, Dusty Rhodes, or anyone else the fans can dream up no matter how irrational could make me care. If they roll out another guy like Steamboat I care about and haven't seen in awhile I'll care about HIM for 5 minutes and continue not caring about Jericho or the story.

I am however interested in why Moose ran off a list where half the guys are dead.
