This is a vain attempt to get some traffic down here and expand the boards a little bit, and to keep me from posting over there so much.
I thought TNA was one of the best hours of wrestling I have seen in a long time. The matches weren't bad, I think I liked Senshi more tonight than I did in his entire singles run. Kurt was hilarious, even if Borash freeballin and Kurt running around in a banana hammock was disturbing.
The stuff with AJ and Christian in the parking lot was great, even though you knew Abyss was going to be in the truck, for some reason it got a laugh out of me instead of the eye rolling groan that the E tends to get.
All in all, great show, I was entertained through the whole thing, even VKM. They are lame, but the new girl, we'll see.
The Phillies are everything I hoped the Mets would be - a team that plays their fucking asses off for all 27 outs. They're never out of a game. Solly 10/20/09
Oh fuck you. You complimented VKM. You're lucky I don't temp ban your ass.
EDIT: I enjoyed the show as well but I don't have a ton to talk about. I was distracted. Loved everything AJ did, Angle amused me enough to look past the image. Matches were ok if nothing special.
Or don't do either. If you can't find an image you like at either than don't force it. Just give me something you like and which will look good on the board.

no, YOU are Lucky. Come on, get with the program!
well I did say VKM was lame
Though I wonder about this, if the whole thing didn't originate as a shot at Vince, had they just become the Voodoo Kin Mafia (which for some reason I think is kinda cool) would we hate them as much? Being the Voodoo Kin Mafia with a potentially hot voodoo woman is not the worst thing ever. If we forget the Vince and DX stuff and just pick up where Gunn had issues with Hemme, it is not THAT bad.
Still not great either, but it could be worse, they could be eating worms, fucking corpses and coming up with lame ass "and I never learned how to read" promos

If you wonder if I would have hated them then I suggest you go back and read my complete refusal to even talk about the James Gang during all the OO Prediction articles. Seriously, these guys were so bad they made LAX look horrible. I was fighting against a sea of haters until LAX broke out IMMEDIATELY after their James Gang feud.

I really don't like Angle. And then he does what he did tonight and entertains the heck out me. Even walking around and putting his suntan protective glasses on everytime he goes somewhere..........Funny. And beating Sharkboy for continuing to smile. Just little things he kept doing. Jerk made me smile.
I didn't watch the PPV, but the Duds are now heels? I guess I missed something big there.
I think AJ might be the coolest guy in the world. Cooler even than me.
James Gang sucks balls. A lot. This new Voodoo chick looks weird. I have no interest in any of it. And what's the deal with that loser jobbing to Billy Gunn tonight? Weren't they feuding still? Wasn't that match an ender? Did it end so the VKM can go back to tag matches with their new Voodoo Powers or something? How lame is all of this? And why does that loser guy (I still can't remember his name) have a tramp stamp? Gay?
Man, Angle cracked me up tonight.
Is it so hard to imagine? Is it so hard to believe? Something so outrageous, something so far-fetched, well how 'bout Adam and Eve?
You didn't miss much RE: Dudleyz. On the PPV they cut a pre match promo and brought up that the Steiners chickened out and how they didn't even believe Scott was ever hurt. Outside of that? This is their first truly heelish act. You're watching the turn. At least I'm presuming we're watching a turn. Sometimes TNA fakes you out on this stuff.
Actually the Dudz were probably starting to act a little more heelish a month or so back when Rick brought Animal in to replace Scott. They kinda dismissed him and hinted that Scott had pussed out. Then TNA seemed to want them as faces to play against Angle for the Match of Champions, but the basic idea seems to be they think the Steiner's are pussies. And since everyone else believes Scott when he says he had a major, life threatening injury that makes them heels. At least once they start attack folks over it.
Of course the Steiners attacked the Dudz to cost them their titles so how that sets them up to be faces, I have no idea. TNA does this sometimes.

grabbed that from over there. It occurred to me that if they dropped the whole "savage" thing from Umaga, and just made him a bad ass like Joe, Umaga and Samoa Joe would be one hell of a team. Not saying Umaga is as good as Joe, not that I have ever seen anyway, but that would be a good team.
I also thought that if they weren't going to push Joe in the ME ranks, Joe and Rhyno would make one hell of a team.
Also, didn't Senshi use a different finisher before he started using the stomp? I think I liked the old one better, but I can't remember what it was. I do hope we eventually get a XXX-LAX feud. Lucky, you may know better than I do, is there someone LAX could bring in as a third man that wouldn't suck? ie not Apollo?

Sure, basically any hispanic worker would work to fit the gimmick. But you could probably expand the gimmick as Konnan seemed to offer both Ron Killings and Petey Williams spots in LAX earlier on. If you asked me to add someone into LAX right now? I'd probably want Rocky Romero but he's signed up with ROH. I presume Psicosis is off the list given his illegal activity. I might not be against giving Juvi a shot but many probably would be. I don't follow luchadore wrestling terribly well and I'm running short on Hispanic wrestlers in American indies. Ricky Reyes bores the living crap out of me. Ricky Banderas sounds to be a mortal lock to play James Mitchell's "son".
Chavo is rumored to be at the end of his deal and TNA wanted him in with his uncle to feud with LAX. He could theoretically work now that that's broken down.
My guess is that if TNA does LAX vs XXX then LAX is going face. And honestly, my guess is that LAX is going face anyway. So that being said, its probably not necessary to pull in a latino for a 3rd. Starting to break down the idea of
There obviously are plenty of Hispanic options in Mexico and Puerto Rico. Dutch Mantell has big ties to WLW in PR and now that Konnan's gone TNA can theoretically work with CMLL. I just don't pay much attention. I used to get WLW on my TV but not in years. And I'm always wanting to watch some lucha libre but I can't seem to find any on my TV. So outside of Mistico (who's basically a clone of a young Rey Mysterio) I don't know much.

I think I have the answer for LAX depending on how much he prefers ROH/Japan to a possible TNA contract and thats Rocky Romero. He's wrestled in TNA (I think) before as Black Tiger and he's been getting so much better the more he's working with the top names in ROH and NOAH. And he's teamed with Homicide in the past in the Rottweilers. Ricky Reyes was the 4th in that group, but either Romero carried him to great matches in the past or he flat out lost all his talent. So, I'd go with Romero.
With regards to Ki/Senshi, his old finisher was a Ki Krusher. I can't recall the specifics, but it was a damn cool move, especially if he hit it off the turnbuckle.
Oh, and yes, Senshi used the Ki Krusher 99. The Ghetto Stomp/Warrior's Way is sick when it hits flush, but the Ki Krusher? Whew.
That's actually a Super Ki Krusher 99. The regular one is done on the ground after spinning him a bit. Of course the problem is that its not all that different from Joe's Muscle Buster.
And just for fun, the Homicide/Senshi finisher of the Cop/Gringo Killa and Ghetto Stomp/Warrior's Way.

I was at the show in NYC right after Homicide and Ki hit that finisher on Lethal and they tried setting it up again and the heat in the building was obscene for it. God damn Ghetto Ki was awesome. I'm pretty sure they only hit the move one other time while in ROH together.
