Ok I thought I would give some thoughts on TNA tonight
- I have heard some people hate Karen Angle, she doesn't bother me, and the opening segment with her and Kurt and Nash was pretty funny. She needs to tone it down just a bit, but otherwise it was good. I liked the little nod to history and the nWo.
-I know there are some who hate what they are doing with Joe (Soprano) but honestly it doesn't bother me in the least. Sure I would love Joe as the champion, but I think the story to tell between him and Angle is too limited. Add Christian into the mix and it gives us a reason to bring other guys into the mix as well, be it new guys like Fatu, or maybe someone else currently on the roster. I actually think Joe vs. Christian for the title is a better way to go. Nothing against Angle or anything.
- Speaking of Angle, I also have no problem with him against Sting at the ppv. I am not a Sting fan by any means, but I like this story, and I think they can do a good match. TNA has come a long way since the first BFG (or so I assume this was) where Killings beat Curt Hennig
- Speaking of Killings, he sucks, end of story. I hate him, I hate Team Pac Man, I hate the whole thing. I hate to crush Lucky's feelings, but Killings does NOTHING for me at all. Once this Pac Man deal is done, let him go to the WWE where he can make RAW suck even more.
- Judas Macias, not horrible, not great, but new, so I will give it some time. Looks like Rhyno will be fed to him first, I guess that means the Rhyno-Storm feud is over?
-Restraining orders, these never work in wrestling, but for some reason, I am willing to give this a shot
- Did I see Scott Steiner do a top rope Frankensteiner in the recap? Ho-lee-shit!
The Phillies are everything I hoped the Mets would be - a team that plays their fucking asses off for all 27 outs. They're never out of a game. Solly 10/20/09
Killings is incredibly agile, fast, and talented in the ring, He can mat wrestle and fly. Making AJ vs Killings a more rounded match is almost a mistake because at that short a time it almost should have been a complete spot fest just because they're the two most gifted athletes in the company. He's also very charismatic although the dancing and "Whatsup" act can wear thing on people very easily. You're just crazy. But you hate like everything, so its no big deal. And you think Placido Polanco is a great. You like Chris Masters and hate Ron Killings. Meh.
Sting like gained 100 IQ points with the restraining order.
The Joe hate isn't truly about how he's being handled. Even with Dev. Even though Dev screams about how he's been one of the worst booked wrestlers in history that's clearly ridiculous. And when he argues why it always because far less about how he is booked and more about how he could have been booked. I think he's being booked fine in this Christian feud and in the Angle feud in general. But Angle screwing him and then him getting sidetracked was a mistake and hanging over all of it is "Joe should be champ." But if you take it for what it is? Joe/Christian has been good. Angle/Sting has been good.
Others have said it. If TNA were to pull off a title switch on the 2 hour debut to make Joe/Christian for the title and Angle/Sting a special attraction? I think every rational fan would be happy. The haters would be the only idiots still complaining. "Oh sure, you just hotshot the title to Joe on Impact and now its meaningless."
Even if I really don't want Fatu and I'm suddenly very concerned that Brian Christopher and/or Scotty 2 Hotty are about to show up so that 2 Cool (in some form or another) can be plugged into the tag title match as the face team. Not that I inherently disagree with that idea and I do want a face team to be plugged in there, but I rather not have 2 Cool or the Stinkface in TNA. Really. If Fatu's here I rather they just team him with Morgan for the match but Morgan's the "enforcer."
Or don't do either. If you can't find an image you like at either than don't force it. Just give me something you like and which will look good on the board.

to be fair, there is very little I hate in TNA, Konan and Killings just make the list. I am also not denying Killings is talented, he just bores the shit out of me. Everything he does is just TOO flippy. I mean he gets clothesline and does a 720 in the air before he hits the mat. Feh.
As for Joe and Angle, to move into the realm of fantasy booking, I think I would play it up that all these distractions, Christian, then Fatu turns on Joe, then Tomko, then whoever else, was all a setup by Angle to keep Joe away from the title. In the end, Joe has destroyed everyone, and Angle has not choice but to give him a match. I know its not their biggest ppv, but have it happen at the Cage ppv so there can't be outside interference. Then finally, Joe walks away with the title, the King of the Mountain so to speak

Oh, I can see that. The last time I remember TNA giving him the time to actually wrestle was in an Impact main event vs Joe like a year ago. He can wrestle great. TNA hasn't let him in a long time. He's been off TV most of the time and when they let him on its in tag matches or multi man matches. And then Killings relys on his spots and the splits and flips. They're very impressive and that flying elbow he delivers where he pulls like 3 turns off after it is pretty damn awesome. But its very much theatrics if you don't add some content. But Killings has all the ability in the world to add that content. He just hasn't wrestled a 12 minute 1-on-1 match in forever.

Since Lucky mentioned her and I've been wanting to say this for a long time:
Karen Angle: I will pay you to have sex with me.
There. I said it. And am prepared for the repercussions.
Sting is the dumbest man in wrestling. That's a well established fact. I'd personally find it offensive and out of character if Sting didn't volunteer to do the stupid thing. --Lucky Lopez
