Gimmick trades Jermichael Finley to Sporty for Pick #51 in the 2011 Draft and his 3rd and 5th round picks in the 2012 Draft.

Gimmick trades Pick #51, his 2012 2nd round pick and Sporty's 2012 3rd round pick to Dev for LeSean McCoy and Miles Austin

Gimmick gets: Sportsguy's 5th rd pick in 2012

Dev gets: Gimmick's 2nd rd pick in 2012 and Sportsguy's 3rd rd pick in 2012

I posted this in the griping thread, but want to make sure it's in a thread we will definitely check for next season.

RULE CHANGES NEEDED:

We need to make receptions worth something. Whether it's .5 PPR or even .33 PPR. And 50 yards for 1 point for QBs is still way too high. At most it should be 25 yards.

#10 pick to the winner. In the Baltimore/Houston 2012 playoff game, if Houston wins AND a Houston RB runs for 100 yards, Dev gets AA's pick. If Baltimore wins AND a Houston RB does not run for 100 yards, AA get's Dev's pick. If neither combination happens, the bet is voided.

If you guys were just swapping 10th round positions, I wouldn't care a bit, but someone is gaining a pick based on something that is outside of the league, I just don't think that is right.

Moose has become my new Lucky. I dig doing stuff just to piss him off. (Truthfully, however, I think this trade falls under the "AA's an asshole" rule. But that was instituted by Lucky in the baseball league. Not sure it was ever inacted in the football league.)

Most 10th round picks are not going to matter, they are going to be players that are average at best, or rookies. But, now and then you will get one that makes an impact - AA drafted Rodgers somewhere around that 10th round, and that was a league changing pick. I don't think something like that should be chanced on a bet on a playoff game.

In the history of our leagues, there's been exactly 1 trade that shouldn't have been allowed. Just 1. Not as many as you've tried to veto.

For what it's worth, I'm against it and I love trades. This just has nothing to do with the league.

As someone who's tried to pull off some crazy things in the past, even this is off the reservation for me. If it had something, anything to do with the league itself, I'd probably feel differently, but I just can't get behind this.

FWIW, the bet ended up split so nothing would have happened had it gone through. Dev and I knew you guys would be against it. Hell, I would have been against it if I weren't involved. But (at least) I had been drinking, and it was funny.
