Yep. As a Northern Californian I've had plenty of Sierra Nevada.
I dig 'em. They tend to be "hop-ier" than the average beer, but I'm a fan of hops so it works out well for me. In fact, their Torpedo Double IPA is pretty damn tasty...
True story: Once, when we were about 18, we were at the beer store and some dude grabbed a sixer of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and told us we should buy some because it's fantastic. We did and thought it was crappy so we went back and got some Red Hook ESB and Bass.
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is now probably my favorite beer. Their fall beer Tumbler is also great and their winter ale, Celebration is just the bee's knees and whenever I see it I have to have it. I very rarely go to bars anymore but right before Christmas we were at a british pub up in Houston and I asked the chick working what they had on tap. First thing she said was Celebration and I stopped her and said the Celebration was my pick. Had about 6 of 'em.
I like the Bigfoot, but Torpedo is my go to. Their 30th Anniversary beers are/were awesome. I was actually at their anniversary party in Chico. Good times.
