I decided I really liked that thread when I finally found it last night and I wanted in. You all are really interesting, and it's a fun little game. Since I live in Nashville I've had some celebrity encounters, so I'm going to pull a Thai and do a celebrity version. Sorry to start a new thread, but I figured that's the only way it would get some views. Maybe I'll do a regular version eventually if I can come up with some things as interesting as all of yours.


1. When I was 17 I got backstage passes to a Hootie and the Blowfish concert. I ended up drinking beer with the band for an hour or so, and the whole band signed the back of my high school swim team shirt.

2. When I was in college in Knoxville, Ric Ocasek had a concert in a little hall near my apartment. He found a college girl to hook up with who ended up living in my complex and came back. They were fucked up and came to my door accidentally and Mr. Cars used my bathroom.

3. Alan Jackson used to come into the sandwich shop I worked at. He was like Joe DiMaggio in the Seinfeld episode, he couldn't be distracted. You could scream, "Alan Jackson!" 1 inch from his face and he wouldn't budge or acknowledge you.

4. Questlove from The Roots at a diner. I said what's up and that I loved their new album.

1. I met and shook the hand of R&B superstar Brian McKnight, who was just looking for a quiet place to shoot some pool, while working at the bowling center here in Montgomery back in 2001.

2. After getting off work one night at the bowling center, my buddy Eric and I ran into former Dallas Cowboys DB George Teague, best known for knocking the shit out of Terrell Owens in the middle of Texas Stadium, at a Waffle House here in Montgomery.

3. I sat around the bar of said bowling center and shot Hennessy with Carl Anthony Payne (better known as "Cockroach" to Cosby Show fans) as he told jokes and shot the shit after a live show at Montgomery's Davis Theatre.

Dev: Eminem and Bizkit toured together so I'm gonna play odds that they're both off. Moby because that has to be less entertaining than Jane's Addiction.
Mike 2: Cockroach. Because I find it hard to believe you went to a Cockroach show for him to be hanging out after.
Thai 1: Journey because I have more faith in you as a music fan
